This is not the first time that David Licauco and Shaira Diaz will be working with each other. Their recent projects proved that their chemistry can be something worth pushing for in the future. They both starred as the lead cast in GMA Network's digital series One Hugot Away and also Magpakailanman. The striking chemistry is there and they really know how to bring about that "kilig" factor to the viewers, but will it still pull through in the big screen?

Present during the red carpet premiere were the cast of Because I Love You spearheaded by Michelle Dee as Gianna, Shaira Diaz as Summer and David Licauco as Rael.

In the movie, Shaira plays the feisty, street-smart firefighter who proudly continues her departed dad’s heroic legacy. This is a far cry from the stereotypical sweet and demure belles who spend their lives chasing their “happily ever after” moments. In the film, Shaira also showcases woman empowerment and that each woman can pursue any dream job they wishes to do because they CAN.
David Licauco on the other hand plays a rich polo player Rael. In the film, at first he is in denial that he will fall for someone like Summer because she has a strong personality and she's very independent, but as he gets to know Summer more, things change and soon, he will find himself falling for someone completely opposite his personality.
According to the cast, viewers should definitely watch this movie because of the feel good story, kilig scenes and the cinematic shots of no less than award winning
director Joel Lamangan.
Both Shaira and Dvaid enjoyed working with each other which made their working relationship a lot easier. According to David, Shaira is very hardworking, passionate in acting and she is a very nice and friendly person. Shaira described David as someone very nice as well which is completely opposite of what people thinks of him. Some people would describe David as "mayabang or show off" but he is not that type of person. He's a bit shy sometimes but the truth is he's sweet and thoughtful as well.

Because I Love You is produced by ALV Films under Arnold Vegaria. “Because I Love You” is the second film released by ALV Films. The cast also includes Timothy Lawrence Yap, Martin del Rosario and Samantha Lopez, among others.
