TV5 cranks up the heat this summer with not one but two explosive primetime launches on April 27: the back-to-back premieres of A Secret in Prague and My Bespren Emman. As part of TV5’s Primetime Pa5iklab campaign, these two star-studded series bring viewers a powerful mix of action, romance, drama and hope – making weeknights even more exciting for Filipino families nationwide.

Leading the lineup at 8:00 PM is A Secret in Prague, the first-ever TV team-up of ultimate heartthrob Enrique Gil and Gen Z queen Andrea Brillantes in a thrilling action drama set against the stunning backdrop of Prague in the Czech Republic.

This generation’s prince Charming, Enrique Gil, and the leading lady to watch for Liza Soberano will be introduced as the newest Kapamilya love team via ABS-CBN’s upcoming primetime romantic drama series titled, “Forevermore,” to be directed by the box-office hit director Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Present during the PressCon were Direk Cathy Garcia Molina, Direk Ted Boborol with the latest loveteam to watch out for: Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

“Forevemore” is a tale about first love that blossomed between two different people. Enrique will play the role of Alexander “Xander” Grande III, a rebellious and irresponsible unico hijo of a hotel magnate, who will cross paths and fall in love with Liza’s character, Marie “Agnes” Calay, the feisty and hardworking Strawberry Jam Queen of La Trinidad, Benguet.

Xander and Agnes’ relationship starts after an intoxicated Xander crash lands his parachute into a strawberry truck. To teach him a lesson, his parents made him pay for the damages he caused by making him work at the strawberry farm under the guidance of Agnes and other strawberry farmers.

During the presscon, Liza and Enrique mentioned that they feel blessed and grateful to ABS CBN for giving them this chance to star in this upcoming teleserye. It will be their first time to be paired via teleserye because when they worked together via the movie "She's the One", it was just a brief encounter. Now, they have more time to shine together.

Direk Cathy said that this is something fresh for the audience, they want to cater a teleserye that is not too hard but focuses on a light story that tackles friendship, family and love. It was not their first time to work together but Direk Cathy mentioned, "Naranasan na ni Liza ang bagsik ko!" while laughing, Liza said that Direk Cathy wanted to bring out the best in her which is why that happened. As much as possible she tries to give her best every shoot.

Both Enrique and Liza were teased during the PressCon because someone revealed that Liza has a crush on Enrique which is why Enrique was asked if he feels the same way with Liza. Enrique said that yes he finds Liza very pretty and that she is one of the prettiest ladies in the showbiz industry today. He added that he feels flattered that ABS CBN trusts him that much to give him different projects with different beautiful leading ladies. He was paired with Julia Barretto and Julia Montes before.

“Forevermore” is produced by Star Creatives, the same group that brought viewers, the hit romantic drama series “Princess and I” and “Got To Believe.”

Joining Enrique and Liza in the cast are Sophia Andres, Yves Flores, Kit Thompson, Zoren Legazpi, Lilet, Marissa Delgado, Joey Marquez, and Almira Muhlach. It is also directed by Ted Boborol. The official sound track of Forevermore was sung by Juris and Jay Durias.

GARAGE Young Talents 5th Anniversary Features 2014 Watch Out List

GARAGE held the 5th anniversary of its Young Talents roster in SKYE last March 6. The event was attended by the hottest and most stylish denizens in the metro who bore witness to the naming of this year's to-watch-out-for list. And to cap the evening's festivities, attendees were treated to the reunion of the men's style magazine's most successful past Young Talents winners.

Besides being an indispensable source for men's style and grooming, GARAGE is also known to keep abreast with emerging talents in different creative fields spanning fashion, entertainment, design, culture and the arts. It was due to this hotbed of talent that the Young Talents roster of the magazine was created. GARAGE, being a creative force in the fashion industry in itself, nurtures the same spirit in others by turning the spotlight on these individuals whose talents have made an impact in their respective fields. The magazine has been celebrating this creative force for the past five years since its inception. Past winners have included Enchong Dee, Sam Concepcion, Chris Cayzer and more.

The evening began with a fashion show directed by Robby Carmona and sponsored by clothing brand, Folded and Hung. It was then followed by the announcement of this year's Young Talents list which includes athlete Andre Paras, make-up artist Nikki Duque, stage actor Rafa Siguion Reyna, artist Mano Gonzales, model LA Aguinaldo, designer Lorenz Namalata, muse Janna Tee and writer Margarita Buenaventura. But the highlight of the GARAGE Young Talents 5th Anniversary celebration was the reunion of the past year's winners which included Enrique Gil, Alden Richards and Elmo Magalona who are incidentally, also the cover stars of the February 2014 issue of GARAGE.

The theme of the evening was PARADISE SWING and guests were seen in their modern tropical looks reminiscent of 40's Hawaii, Pearl Harbor and From Here to Eternity. The February issue of GARAGE saw cover stars Enrique Gil, Alden Richards and Elmo Magalona interpreting this theme by donning a special collection featuring a collaboration of brand, Folded and Hung with hot designer, Bang Pineda. The current issue is dubbed as a special magazine because it features not only the current roster of Young Talents but all the past winners as well.

Enrique Gil, Julia Montes Visit Dubai Autism Center

What do 50 Cent, Mike Tyson, Enrique Gil and Julia Montes have in common? They have all recently visited the Dubai Autism Center (DAC), fast becoming one of the premier centers in the Gulf region to offer internationally proficient services in the field of autism.

The DAC welcomed recently two of ABS-CBN TFC's "ASAP Live In Dubai" stars: Enrique Gil and Julia Montes who came to visit the Center and express their strong support to the autism cause. Both youthful Filipino celebrities were part of the hugely successful "ASAP Live in Dubai" back-to-back concerts last January 24 which ABS-CBN TFC co-presented with OSN, the region's leading pay-TV network and now the exclusive hub of TFC subscribers in the region.

DAC Events & Project Manager Farhan Shahid warmly received the celebrity guests and accompanied them in a tour of the facilities where they spent time with students with autism.

At the end of the visit, Gil and Montes signed on the VIP’s guest book, expressing their admiration for the efforts undertaken by the Center towards children with autism and wishing everyone greater success in their endeavors to help people with the condition.

Farhan Shahid commented: “The visit reflects Enrique and Julia’s concern about individuals with autism... I am impressed by their keenness to understand and find out more about the disorder... They have left a lasting impression on all staff members.”

DAC is a non-profit organization launched in 2001 with the main objective of successfully integrating children with autism into the community through focused efforts in creating social awareness about the condition.

Today, 57 students are provided with a holistic individualized intervention program that includes academics and various therapies: behavioural, speech, occupational, music and play as well as professional medical care. In addition to the intervention program, the Center has an internationally acknowledged assessment and diagnosis unit.

Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that lasts throughout a person’s life. It affects the person’s verbal and non-verbal communication abilities as well as imaginative play and social skills. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) transcend social, cultural and geographic boundaries. According to recent studies, 1 out of 88 children is affected by ASD.

This October, on its 20th anniversary, Star Cinema brings to the big screen Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil and Bea Alonzo in “She’s The One”, a story that combines the excitement of an unexpected romance with the epiphany that comes with finding the one person you can’t live without.

“She’s The One” hits theaters on October 16 and is directed by Mae Cruz from a story and script by the award-winning Vanessa Valdez. It also stars upcoming screen sweetheart Liza Soberano in her biggest, most important and most challenging film role to date.

Dingdong returns to the Star Cinema fold after successful team-ups with Kris Aquino in Segunda Mano and Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin in One More Try. “She’s The One” is his first time to work with Bea Alonzo.
