Fronted by Direk Frank Lloyd Mamaril—known for his acclaimed work as a film and music video director—Formula 5 captivated the crowd with their signature blend of heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and tight harmonies. The concert highlighted not only the band’s chemistry but also their deep connection with their growing fan base.

The anniversary show featured a mix of original songs and crowd-favorite covers, each performance underscoring the group’s artistry and versatility. From soulful ballads to upbeat rock-pop anthems, Formula 5 proved that they’re more than just another OPM boy band—they’re storytellers with sound and soul.
Direk Frank Lloyd Mamaril, who took the stage as the band’s lead vocalist, expressed his gratitude to their supporters, saying the milestone was both humbling and inspiring. “Formula 5 started as a passion project,” he shared. “A year later, it’s become a brotherhood and a musical journey we’re proud to share with everyone.”
The concert also marked a celebration of the band’s growth under FLM Creatives, which has been instrumental in nurturing their talent and creativity. Fans can expect more music from Formula 5 soon, as they hinted at new singles and performances in the coming months. Formula 5 has been busy doing local and international shows including their recent trip in Korea where they performed. They also did some TV and radio guestings at DZMM Teleradyo and NET25 Kada Umaga.
Last August 2025, Formula 5 was awarded as the Rising Star Male Vocal Group at the Legacy Awards 2025, also in the same month, they were featured in the New York Time Square billboard. All these achievements in one year and more to come!
With their first year in the music scene and a promising future ahead, Formula 5 continues to carve their own path in the OPM landscape—proving that with the right mix of talent, heart, and drive, success is more than just a formula—it’s a shared rhythm of passion and purpose.
