Adding to the excitement was the introduction of UNIQLO’s newest local celebrity partner, award-winning actress and host Anne Curtis. Bringing her own playful take on modern city style, Anne showcased the collection’s versatility through two distinct looks.

First, she layered the Zip Up Short Jacket with the JW Anderson Boxy Oxford Long Sleeve Shirt and Ribbed Henley Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt, paired with Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans for a relaxed, comfortable look. Next, she embraced a cozy yet polished style with the Fluffy Yarn Fleece Full-Zip Jacket, UNIQLO : C Milano Ribbed Full-Zip Cardigan, and Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans. The mix of relaxed silhouettes and refined details highlights the collection’s effortless versatility, showing how classic pieces can be reimagined with a fresh, modern attitude.

“What I’m wearing is the Fluffy Yarn Fleece Full-Zip Jacket and underneath is the UNIQLO : C Milano Ribbed Full-Zip Cardigan, and then I have my Baggy Barrel Jeans. It’s pretty chill, relaxed, and for someone like me who gets cold easily, even in Manila, it’s perfect for me. As you can see, I’m not even sweating. It’s comfy, it’s perfect, and it’s fluffy” said Anne Curtis.

Also bringing the collection’s modern city living inspirations to life was UNIQLO Philippines’ roster of local celebrity partners, each showcasing their own take on the latest LifeWear pieces.

Alexa Ilacad highlighted the timeless appeal and functionality of the AIRism Bra Sleeveless Top, layering it with the JW Anderson Oxford Boxy Long Sleeve Shirt and Windproof Stand Blouson, paired with a Pleated Skort for a versatile, polished finish. Anthony Constantino elevated everyday dressing with UNIQLO Sweats, showcasing how the category can go beyond loungewear. Even if you're not familiar with the phrase "May-December romance," you've definitely seen one in reality and in the silver screen — it's one of the many favorite topics of film creators simply because it will give thrill to the viewers.

Typically, when someone talks about May December relationships, there is an assumption that it is an older man with a younger women. Over the past decade, however, things have begun to even out. More younger men are seeking out women who are older for various reasons.

I've watched several films that tackle May-December romance, once called a “cougar,” older women and young men are finding that May December relationships aren’t just sexual, but can make for a real, lasting, and blissful union.

The popularity of the May December relationship continues to increase and become more socially acceptable regardless of who is older and who is younger. This will be tackled in the latest offering of Viva Films featuring "Ang nag-iisang dyosa" Anne Curtis and fast rising hunk/actor Marco Gumabao in JUST A STRANGER.

Written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana (The Day After Valentine’s, 100 Tula Para Kay Stella), the story revolves around a married woman who gets into an affair with a man half her age despite her nagging conscience that one day they might pay for it.

Mae Pimentel (Curtis) is in her mid-30s. Though stricken with an illness called Fibromyalgia, Mae is not wanting in material things and can go on a leisure trip anywhere she wants. Her husband Phil (Edu Manzano), a businessman, doesn’t seem to mind as he has very little time for her. It is while vacationing in the flamboyant city of Lisbon, Portugal that this fashionable lady meets Jericho.

Anne Curtis was asked how her husbnad Erwan Heussaff reacted about her role in Just a Stranger and her intimate scenes as well and Anne said Erwas has been very supportive in her ability to act and he always supports her in every way possible. Anne added that they both trust one another and he knows how passionate she is on her craft. It was not yet revealed if Erwan will be watching on the premiere night with Anne but Anne assured everyone that Erwan always watcher her film even alone sometimes.

Jericho “Jekjek” Esguerra (Gumabao) is a 19-year-old son of a Philippine Ambassador. He is oozing with sex appeal and charming personality, but lacking in maturity. To help him have a sense of responsibility, his father tells him to find a job. Jericho is not excited about working, but out of respect to his parents Rufi and Judy (Robert Seña and Isay Alvarez), he obeys their demands. He has a girlfriend named Febbie (Jas Rodriguez), but meeting Mae makes his life more exciting.

Marco shares his initial reaction when he learned that he will be working with Anne Curtis in a film. It was not their first time to work with each other since they've worked together in Aurora but in this film, they are working in a more intimate and closer level. Marco added that he was overwhelmed, excited and nervous all at the same time, thankfully, Direk Paul and Anne guided him and he learned a lot from them as well.

Anne Curtis described what it was like to work with Marco Gumabao and she described him as boyish, mabait, he's eager to learn and for Marco, Anne is such a nice person, she is very supportive, professional and always helpful to her co-actors. He is very thankful that he got the chance to work side by side with Anne Curtis because she is definitely a great actress.

The trailer already gives a hint of the numerous steamy scenes between Anne and Marco, but director Laxamana points out that the film was not created to romanticize illicit affair. This drama will delve deeper into the personal stories of the characters to show their reasons behind their actions. It is interesting to know if despite their liaison, Mae and Jericho can stick to this principle: “Not your friend. Not your lover. Just a stranger.”

It is said that the idea of doing a May-December affair love story has long been considered by Anne, but it is only now that the right material came along. The award-winning actress has shown her versatility by doing action (Buy Bust) and mystery thriller (Aurora), but it can’t be disregarded that her career prospered while doing romantic drama movies (Baler, In Your Eyes, No Other Woman, A Secret Affair). After the box office hit Sid & Aya, it’s great that viewers will get to see Anne going back to her roots – the romance-drama genre.

SID & AYA (Not A Love Story) features Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis in their first team up after 20 years!

VIVA Films brings together on screen the Princess of All Media, Anne Curtis and the 49th Box Office Entertainment Awards’ Film Actor of the Year, Dingdong Dantes in this year’s much-awaited romantic-drama,“SID & AYA (NOT A LOVE STORY),” which opens in theaters nationwide on May 30.

Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes shared the juicy details about their film during the Grand Media Conference of the film.

Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes shared that they've worked together in the past, 20 years ago in GMA Network's teen show T.G.I.S., back then Dingdong was paired with Antoinette Taus and Anne Curtis was paired with Chubbi Del Rosario. They didn't get to work that much in the show since their age gap was 4 years but they are in same show and Dingdong recalls that Anne was the youngest in their show.

Dingdong praised how dedicated Anne is when it comes to her passion in acting and accepting projects. According to Dingdong, when Anne accepts a project, she makes it sure that this is the only movie she is doing so that she can focus more o her character, she doesn't have any qualms with her role and she just goes for it and gives her 101%.

From the screenplay and direction of box-office writer/director Irene Villamor (Camp Sawi and Meet Me In St. Gallen). According to Direk Irene, they really handpicked Dingdong and Anne for the role since they wanted an actor and actress who is "hindi takot", Direk Irene added that their roles is very challenging and people might have different interpretations with the outcome which is why they wanted a pair that can give a perfect outcome to the movie.

Anne and Dingdong went to Japan to shoot some of the movie’s important scenes, their experience was memorable because both Dingdong and Anne loves Japan and the shots were very cinematic according to the actors.

In the story, Dingdong plays Sid, an insomniac, while Anne portrays the role of Aya, the mysterious woman Sid meets and asks to spend time with him as he battles with those long, sleepless and empty nights.

The film’s tagline about it not being a love story is as intriguing as Anne and Dingdong’s first major big screen pairing.

The description that went with the full trailer of “Sid & Aya…” on YouTube, is indeed enough to tickle the imagination of moviegoers.

Based on the trailer released recently by VIVA Films, Anne and Dingdong displayed such strong chemistry, especially in scenes that are sizzlingly romantic, Anne mentioned how wonderful the outcome is of their love scene in the movie.

But as Dingdong’s character Sid tells us, “Hindi naman lahat ng may ‘I love you,’ ay love story na, eh.”

So, better watch and discover the mystery surrounding Sid and Aya’s relationship when the film, “SID & AYA (NOT A LOVE STORY),” opens in theaters nationwide starting May 30, only from VIVA Films.

VIVA talent and Kapamilya artist Anne Curtis gets the biggest break in her showbiz career, so far, as she marks her international debut via the action-packed love story-suspense-thriller, Blood Ransom, directed by Fil-Am Francis dela Torre.

Produced by Tectonic Films, the "movie, which also stars Alexander Dreymon, Samuel Caleb Hunt and Jamie Harris, opens in the Philippines on October 29 and in the US on October 31.

Blood Ransom undoubtedly brings Anne a step closer to a career in Hollywood - one thing local artists aspire for. Naturally, this thrills her on end.

In an interview with Star Studio, the actress-Showtime host related how she auditioned and landed Blood Ransom's central character of Crystal, the mysterious woman kidnapped by Jeremiah (Dreymon) who refuses to return to her boyfriend, Roman (Jeremiah's boss).

"My friend Sam Richelle sent me a script asking if I'd be interested in shooting a film to be shot in the States and if I'd be willing to audition for the role. I read the scene for the audition piece and told myself, 'why not?' So, I

nervously gave it a shot," Anne related.

She is no stranger to the international scene having previously ventured in it via a stint in America's Next Top Model, where she donned creations by Pinoy

designer Francis Libiran.

Shooting Blood Ransom took Anne away from home and her Showtime hosting job for almost a month. Filming with Dela Torre and the Blood Ransom team took place in California, USA.

Challenges included a scene where she and Dreymon, as ill-fated lovers on the run, dabbled in a highly passionate kissing scene.

The actress recounted the take with Star Studio, "I had quite a difficult time understanding exactly what my director was looking for. I was doing my kissing scene as I've always done in my films and TV shows here in the Philippines, but he kept on cutting the scene and telling me to kiss with more passion and longer. Honestly, I couldn't understand what was wrong with how I was kissing."

"So, this went on for several takes, until finally, Alexander just told me straight up, 'Anne, I think Francis wants us to French Kiss.' I was in awkward shock for maybe a split second, as I've never French kissed in any of my films or TV shows. But I just quickly said, 'Oh, ok, game!' and went ahead and did it, got Francis' approvaland it was a perfect take!"

Looking back, Anne cherishes the experience and is glad she took the

once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Still part of her Star Studio interview went, "I gave it everything I could. It didn't seem hard or feel like I was making a sacrifice by leaving work in the Philippines behind because I was enjoying myself and felt it would be an awesome learning experience as an actress."

Back home, fans, friends and family have expressed pride and joy in Anne's latest achievement. They include her long-time BF, Erwan Heussaff, Erwan's actress-model-sister, Solenn, and Anne's ex-flame, TV host-actor Luis Manzano.

Netizens raved at her performance as well the minute she posted Blood Ransom's trailer on her Twitter account. So far, it has over a million hits on YouTube.

Amazingly, Joining Anne in her international film debut is Alexander Dreymon, an actor whom Filipino audiences may know from an arc in American Horror Story: Coven. He grew up between Germany, France, England, Switzerland and the United States — and now, he finds himself in Manila to join Anne in promoting Blood Ransom. I also watched him and Anne when they guested at KrisTV trying out delectable dishes. He looks so cute!

The story: When JEREMIAH is caught in the middle of an ill-fated plot to kidnap CRYSTAL, his boss ROMAN’S beautiful young girlfriend, ROMAN unleashes the psychopath, BILL, to hunt Jeremiah down. But when Crystal refuses Jeremiah’s offer to return her to Roman, Jeremiah and Crystal begin a dangerous love affair on the run. And with every hour they’re together, a darker deeper secret burns within Crystal—something even more sinister than the killer who is after them.

Considering that the movie is somewhat an Indie Film, it has cinematic scenes, it really feels like it's a Hollywood Film. I love the effects and how perfectly Anne portrayed her role

while the effects of her turning into a vampire every now and then conveyed her acting.

She even mentioned in an interview before that she was not wearing any fangs, meaning all the effects were put into graphics and they were really good acting it simultaneously.

Anne and Alexander look good in the big screen. Although the ending is a bit gory, you have to watch carefully so that you will not get lost with the ending.
