As part of her 70th birthday and Mother's Day, Superstar and National Artist Ms. Nora Aunor visited our Aeta brothers and sisters in Sapang Uwak, Porac Pampanga. It was a successful gift giving event and she felt grateful and overjoyed. 

"Napakasaya ko po dahil ngayong araw na ito ay nakasama ko po kayo at naging espesyal ang pagdiriwang ng Mother's Day at ng aking Kaarawan. Asahan po ninyo na babalikan ko po kayo," said the award-winning actress in front of the Aeta natives.

"Sana po ay masiyahan po kayo sa konti po naming nakayanan para sa inyo katulong po ang aking mga Minamahal na Noranians at si John Rendez. Ipinapangako ko po na hindi ito ang huli nating pagkikita. Babalik at babalik po ako sa inyong lugar. Asahan po ninyo yan," she continued. 

The actress distributed grocery items, money and food, much to the delight of our Aeta compatriots. With much joy and excitement,  the National Artist was presented with a song and the others even danced in front of her wearing their native costumes. The actress was also given a variety of fruits as a gift to her. Most of the Aetas, especially the elders, were emotional at the Superstar's visit. According to them, this is the first time someone famous visited their area and they will never forget the day Ate Guy visited them.

Nora's visit to the Aeta natives is just one of the outreach programs that the Great Actress is doing and will continue to do. She thanked those who helped her in this project led by the Noranians, John Rendez, NOW na President Edgar Castro, Rodel Fernando, Gigi Bundoc, Susan Bundoc, Emma Cordero, Emily Marin as well as the coordinators Aida Laquindanum Clave and Patricia Rozein of Pampanga. Of course, the Barangay Council of Sapang Uwak, Porac, Pampanga, to Analyn Santiago and her Family.

The actress also thanks the fans club Federation of Nora Aunor Followers. Grand Alliance for Nora Aunor Philippines Inc. GANAP D'Solid Noranians SOLID NORA TIRSO FOREVER, BONA (Believers Of Nora Aunor) and Kabataan For Ate Guy. There were also some members of NFF (Nora's Friends Forever) led by Ghie Tamayo.
