LG Looks Forward to the Future

COVID fundamentally changed how business is done, from hybrid work setups to teleconferencing. An immediate need presented itself and LG rose to the challenge.
In LG Reconnect, the fruits of LG’s labor was finally unveiled to the public. The tech event was recently held in The Podium Hall, Mandaluyong and was hosted by LG brand ambassador Andrei Felix. The function featured a vast selection of LG Commercial Displays, all ready to face the needs of the future today.
Ed Kasunuran, head of business solutions, started off with a short intro on how the event came to be. “The whole industry went into upheaval because of the pandemic, so it’s crucial to address consumer needs. LG, as expected, went over and beyond to deliver what the market wants. Today, we will be unveiling some of LG’s innovations that showcase new technology that pushes us forward to the future.”Industry stalwarts gave short presentations detailing how LG’s new technology can be used to push different sectors to new heights. Asia regional senior business development manager Bryan Tan discussed retail trends, particularly how the pandemic was a catalyst for digital acceleration in Southeast Asia, making the region one of the world’s most connected regions going into 2022.For the hospitality industry, business development manager Karl Herrera gave his insights, noting the benefits of using dedicated commercial displays over consumer TVs. He gave detailed comparisons how the commercial options have more than double the lifespan of consumer displays with over three times the usage hours.
Business development manager Mikee De Ocampo discussed how the addition of commercial display solutions can lead to more productivity and collaboration in the evolving workspace. From small, medium to large meeting rooms, to auditoriums, these display solutions offer interactive, user-friendly platforms to meet and fulfill new corporate needs while boosting meeting efficiency and simplifies maintenance.Business development manager Hannah Cepe also shared her expertise with LED. She introduced and gave a brief glimpse on indoor, outdoor LEDs and content solutions. each with a different use case. From Magnit, Bloc. Transparent Film, FIne-Pitch Series, each offers a wider color spectrum and vivid color viewing angle.
The last speaker was business development manager Jane Pactoranan, who talked about the increased demand for monitors following the pandemic. She went on length about the different monitor lines - Standard, UltraWide, UHD 4K Monitor and UltraGear series and how it can help businesses and consumers alike.
The event showcased the different commercial display solutions that LG offers. The highlight of the event was the introduction of the massive LSAC025, a 54” LED Video Wall Display that you can connect with each other with cable-less signal transmission and power docking.Its block assembly design makes the LSAC series easier to install than before. Its maintenance, installation, and replacement is as easy as it gets. Unlike the LCD video walls, LSAC series is truly bezel-free, so audiences can focus on visual content in its entirety without any bezel interference between displays. It is the first of its kind in the world and a true marvel of engineering.Productivity during meetings is incredibly important. The One:Quick Works is the perfect blend for hybrid work environments. The 55” screen provides a commanding presence in conference rooms and makes meetings more interactive and productive. The One:Quick Flex offers most of the same features of One:Quick Works, but it offers better mobility. It is slightly smaller at 43”, but it comes with a stand and can be rotated horizontally or vertically.
For quick, easy, and fuss-free screen sharing among multiple people, LG provides the perfect solution with the One:Quick Share. LG One:Quick Share is a wireless screen sharing solution available through LG Digital Signage, USB transmission unit for PC (SC-00DA), and its app. Want to make a statement in your conference rooms? You can always go big with LG. The LAEC series is a 136-inch large screen which is offered as an all-in-one package including an embedded controller and built-in speaker.
