LA SANTOS puts millennial vibe in classic hit song 'ISANG LINGGONG PAG-IBIG'

In a short span of time, LA Santos has done quite a remarkable job in the showbiz industry. He was launched way back as a performer and recording artist which landed him a music contract under Star Music. He has several songs that hit the radio stations including "Miss Terror," "Mine," "Ikaw Kasi," "Bakit Ang Pag-Ibig," "Hanggang Kailan," "When I Was Your Man," "Forever's Not Enough," "One Greatest Love" and "Tinamaan." Some of his latest songs were Grown Up Man and Anyare.
Fast forward to 2019, LA Santos makes a big comeback! Queen of Music, no less than Ms. Imelda Papin has given LA Santos the blessing to make a millennial remake of her hit song "Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig".
LA shared that he felt very grateful and honored that among all the singers today, he was given the opportunity to sing such a classic song that many can relate to. He added that he was a big fan of Ms. Imelda Papin and he also love the song "Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig". The millennial take of the song gives a more upbeat and RnB kind of feel for the song which embodies LA Santos as well as a young adult.
LA’s latest single was produced under Papin Entertainment Productions, for release by
ABS-CBN’s Star Music.
A composition of Mon Del Rosario, the original Imelda Papin song "Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig" was released in 1992 and became an instant phenomenal hit. It dominated the local airwaves for a substantial time period making the producer earn a multiple platinum sales record.
So, how did LA Santos met Ms. Imelda Papin? LA said that he was the front act in the Jukebox Queens Concert, during their rehearsal he got the chance to talk to Ms. Papin about his style in singing, his genre of songs and more and she gave him a lot of advice when it comes to singing and even introduced him to her vocal coach. He also shared to Ms. Imelda his love for classic songs and that he is a big fan of her music.
Aside from enjoying his craft in music, LA Santos is also busy being an actor. Just recently, he was part of the action film "MARIA" starred by Cristine Reyes under Viva Films. LA shared that he enjoyed shooting the movie because everyone is very helpful and supportive, he added that he can't wait to do more projects because he also loves to act.
Right now, he said that he can't choose which one to prioritize, whether it will be acting of singing because he enjoys doing both. LA also said that he will also try to produce and compose his own songs in the future but for now, he wishes to study how to do so first.
