Last August 15 and 16, To the Top boys performed their very own Acapella version of

APO Hiking Society's greatest Hits.

Check out Team A's theatrical version of "Anna"

Team B's performance gave them a sweet victory this week when they

performed "Di Na Natuto"

Team C did a unique version of "Salawikain" with a Beat Box performance

It was also the elimination night that week and the judges need to pick one between AJ Ajrouche and Luis Gragera. They both performed for the last time and and the judges finally decided that it's time for Luis Gragera to bid farewell to his team mates.

It was hard for his team mates to let him go and Luis felt really felt sad that his journey as part of the To The Top boys ends here but as the judges said, the journey only begins here.

To the Top Boys Ready to Heat Up the Dance Floor!

When GMA launched their first ever multi-platform boy band competition - To The Top, it quickly draws a buzz around with the netizens since it will be the first time that a boy band will be formed televised and every week, each member of the chosen finalists will be trimmed down until the final members of the boy band will be chosen.

Ryan Cayabyab is chairs the competition board of judges that includes Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado, and OJ Mariano of The CompanY and also act as vocal coaches. Two-time World Hip Hop Champions Philippine Allstars alumni Madelle and Prince Paltu-ob as well as international breakdancing champion Jesse “Reflex” Gotangco, and the Sound Squad of musical arrangers and sound engineers led by Jonathan Ong and his team from Sonic State Audio -- Chino David, Chris anthony Vinzons, and Brian Lotho.

To The Top didn’t conduct open auditions, but the men behind the show invited the best male singer from different schools and organizations to join the auditions to determine the finalists.

The show also documented the journey of the young men from being solo artists or members of singing groups to becoming part of the country’s newest boy band.

All these experiences were seen by the public when GMA made the competition initially available online via www.gmanetwork.com/tothetop. In the program’s webisodes, Julian Trono, who recently underwent intensive training under the KPop system, was the host.

The 25 finalists were later trimmed down to 14. The netizens were tasked to vote for their favorites who were earlier eliminated in the series to become the competition’s wildcards to make up the 18 finalists and they are AJ Ajrouche, Lance Busa, Ken Carpena, Mico Cruz, Cholo dela Cruz, Martin de Vera, Luis Gragera, Joshua Jacobe, MJ Magno, Miko Manguba, Seph Manlapaz, Bryan Olano, JP Palanca, Adrian Pascual, Louie Pedroso, Lharby Policarpio, Edric Ulang, and Chris Yumang.

These boys are not only singers but they can also make you WOW on the dance floor. The coaches makes it a point that the boys will be honed not only with their singing skills but also dancing skills which is one of the major requirement needed to form a boy band.

To The Top: First Boy Band Competition in the Philippines Premieres July 25 via GMA Network!

TO THE TOP is the first ever multi-platform boy band competition in the Philippines. Spearheaded by the GMA Public Affairs Department. the show documents the journey of young male vocalists from being solo artists in their schools, organizations and communities, to striving to be part of GMA Network's first ever boy band.

Hosted by no less than Asia's Romantic balladeer and Kapuso crooner Christian Bautista

Julian Trono who landed an opportunity to train under K-POP system will be the online host.

Helping them in the pursuit to penetrate the music industry are their vocal coaches from the Philippines' premiere vocal ensemble:

The CompanY- Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado and OJ Mariano.

Multi-Awarded dance coaches- 2 Time World Hip Hop Dance Champions Philippine All Stars alumni Madelle and Prince Paltu-Ob, international break dance or b-boying champion Jesse "Reflex"Gotangco.

Award winning music producer Jonathan Ong with his team of musical arrangers and sound engineers from Sonic State Audio.

Each week, the groups will have a song and dance showdown and will be judged by none other than The Maestro, multi-awarded composer and conductor Ryan Cayabyab. He will also be joined by different guest judges each week to determine which group wins the battle of that week. There will also be eliminations where the weakest member of each team may face an early exit from the show.
