Kapuso Milyonaryo, GMA-7’s longest running network promo, has undoubtedly been part of every Kapuso’s life ever since it started back in 2012. It has already awarded 62 lucky millionaires since its first season. We take a look back on some of the winners whose luck has changed because of that one lucky white envelope.
Changing people’s lives
Before becoming a Kapuso Milyonaryo, Cristy Pascual led a modest life in Bacolod and religiously went to the nearest drop box location to send her proof of purchase entries. She then received a big Christmas bonus and became one of the season 6 winners of P1Million last December. When asked what she did with her winnings, Christy shared that she was able to buy a piece of land for her brand new house and was able to purchase a fish ball kiosk in her hometown. In the true spirit of giving luck to people’s lives, Christy shared her blessings with her sibling. It is now a sari-sari store in front of her sibling’s house.
Five months after her lucky moment, Cristy is still on a high. “Sobrang saya! Sobrang iba talaga ang aming pakiramdam.”
New home, new life
Like Cristy, Season 6 P1 Million winner Ester Taylan of Cavite invested her winnings in a brand new home. Not only is she a certified millionaire but Ester is also a loyal Kapuso.
Fun, young, and lucky!
Klarck Tacalan, just 17 years old, could not believe his luck when he won the grand prize of P300,000 in the Kapuso Milyonaryo 6 Mobile App Promo.
