Enjoy uninterrupted minutes of real-world connections with the McDonald’s and Coca-Cola BFF Timeout App!

BFF Timeout App Saturday, May 31, 2014

Last May 28, Mcdonalds together with Coca Cola launched an exciting app that will celebrate the importance of being together and how important real time connection is with their BFF TIMEOUT APP!

Media and showbiz personalities were invited to try their exciting app! It was an afternoon filled with surprises, games, raffle and good food with our all time favorite burgers, fries and coca cola drinks!

With the recent launch of the #BetterTogether campaign, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola took a stand and asked people to stay offline a little longer to celebrate real-world connections. Encouraging its customers to spend time with one another over a McDonald’s meal and a Coca-Cola drink, the two iconic brands introduced the BFF Bundles, meals best shared with friends, enabling them to experience moments of genuine connection anytime, anywhere.

In order to amplify and sustain the #BetterTogether campaign’s big idea of inspiring people to enrich their friendships by being physically together, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola have developed a new mobile app that will make bonding time even more exciting—

the BFF Timeout App.

A fun new way to bring friends closer together, the BFF Timeout App is a gaming app which challenges players to go on a “digital timeout” with friends—to celebrate real-world connections without digital interruptions, such as checking their mobile phones. Customers just have to download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store on their iOS or Android phones, log in with their Facebook accounts or play as a guest, invite friends to play, and spend minutes, or even hours, gadget-free.

The game is very simple yet offers a fun challenge to those who find themselves often glued to their smartphones and handheld gadgets, as one can earn badges for more minutes played. The longer you and your friends go on a timeout, the better the reward!

More than being able to play a game with the gang, friends also have the chanceto take their timeout to a fun destination! Until July 19, 2014, every purchase of a BFF Burger or Chicken Bundle for three or four comes with a coupon. Each coupon contains a code, which must be entered in the app to qualify for a chance to win a free trip for four!Prizes include a trip to Boracay on the first raffle draw, Coron, Palawan on the second, Singapore on the third and Osaka, Japan on the final draw.

So how long do you think you and your friends can last on a digital timeout? Download the McDonald’s and Coca-Cola BFF Timeout App now and find out! Visit www.bfftimeout.com to know more. Tell us how you’re celebrating real-world connections by using the hashtags #BetterTogether and #BFFTimeout.

Celebrate real-world connections with McDonald's and Coca-Cola!

analog hour event Friday, April 11, 2014

Last April 7 at Mcdonalds Eton Centris, Mcdonalds together with our favorite drink Coca Cola launched something new that we Filipinos should really try out: Analog Hours.

It was a fun-filled event with special appearance of our favorite stars like Enrique Gil, Iya Villa-Arellano and Nikki Gil hosted the said event, the Teng brothers were also present, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Myrtle Gail Sarroza, Kitchie Nadal and more!

People nowadays have a lot of options when it comes to interacting with one another. All the advancements in technology, smartphones and gadgets allow us to communicate online via messaging apps and social networking sites. And more often than not, more connections start happening in the digital world than in the real one.

This is why McDonald's and Coca-Cola, two iconic global brands and long-time partners, which champion happiness, enjoyment and togetherness, are taking a stand and encouraging people to stay offline a little longer and enjoy real-world connections. Although embracing online connections, McDonald's and Coca-Cola believe it is our physical interactions which make our digital lives more meaningful—that real-life moments, such as hearing a story in person, receiving a warm hug and sharing a McDonald's meal and Coke drink face-to-face, are those which create lasting memories.

"McDonald's and Coca-Cola have been partners for close to 60 years, together providing millions of customers great tasting food and beverages best shared together", said McDonald's Philippines President and CEO, Kenneth Yang. "Today, together as well, McDonald's and Coca-Cola are taking a stand that real-life connections fuel our digital lives and enrich our relationships", added Coca-Cola Philippines President and General Manager, Guillermo Aponte.

Inviting people to create these genuine moments of connection, McDonald's and Coca-Cola are introducing the new BFF Bundles, an exciting menu offering designed to be shared among friends and family. With the BFF Bundles for just Php 399 for a group of three or Php 559 for a group of four, customers can customize their bundled offers, choosing between their favorite McDonald's products.

With the BFF Burger Bundle, customers can choose from seven of their favorite McDonald's Burgers and enjoy them with the new BFF Fries, big enough for the entire gang to enjoy together, and a refreshingly ice-cold Regular Coke for each one. Friends who prefer Chicken McDo can opt for the BFF Chicken Bundle and choose between lpc Chicken McDo and McSpaghetti or 2pc Chicken McDo with rice, complete with BFF Fries and Regular Coke.

For a delicious shared snack, those who constantly find themselves wanting to get their hands on McDonald's World Famous Fries paired perfectly the Coke McFloat, Coca-Cola drink topped with soft serve vanilla and chocolate syrup, the BFF Fries and Float combo is theirs to enjoy for an affordable price of only Php 150.

So what are you waiting for? Head to the McDonald's store nearest you, call 86-2-36 or log on to www.mcdelivery.com.ph to enjoy quality time with your friends over the newest BFF Bundles. Tell us how you're celebrating real-world connections by using the hash tag #BetterTogether.
