The new McCafé Coco Mocha Selections bring three, limited-time offers among McDonald’s coffee favorites.

The McCafé Iced Coffee Coco Mocha is a refreshing blend of the beloved McCafé Iced Coffee, rich chocolate, and creamy coconut for a smooth, satisfying drink. The McCafé Iced Latte Coco Mocha is smooth espresso and creamy milk blended with rich mocha and coconut flavors, while the Cafe Latte Coco Mocha is the hot version for those who want their coffee like a warm hug.

McDonald’s Philippines Founder and Chairman Dr. George T. Yang channels his inner Santa Claus with the release of the McDonald’s Christmas online video, which shines a spotlight on the importance of sharing. In the video, he sings with legendary singer and composer Jose Mari Chan, as they inspire kids and adults to share a Happy Meal, a toy, and feel-good moments that will last a lifetime.

“All of us love seeing the twinkle in children’s eyes whenever they receive a gift, which is why this Christmas, we would also like our own children to experience that special feeling that comes with giving a gift,” said Dr. Yang.

Early Christmas on World Children’s Day

As an early Christmas surprise, McDonald’s gathered together children and families supported by McDonald’s charity of choice, the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), for food and celebration. On World Children’s Day last Nov 20, 2025, McDonald’s, RMHC, and media partners visited the Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit in Biñan, Laguna, to spread cheer and the spirit of giving.

The community experienced an early Christmas celebration with their McDonald’s favorites and Happy Meal toys, games, and fun interactions with Ronald and the Gang. Holding the celebration at Bahay Bulilit Biñan was also meaningful for Dr. Yang, because the facility was his personal gift to the children of the city. Bahay Bulilit Biñan was inaugurated just last October.

“The people of Biñan consider this new Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit in our city a truly meaningful gift from Dr. George Yang,” said City Mayor Angelo Alonte. “It’s not just for Christmas—it’s a gift that will benefit our children for many years to come. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Yang and McDonald’s Philippines for always prioritizing the welfare and education of our children, and for spending time with us to celebrate this early Christmas party.”

The gift of education with every Happy Meal

Customers can also support RHMC through every purchase of a Happy Meal. Starting December 5, McDonald’s Philippines is inviting customers of all ages to channel their inner Santa Claus through the Happy Meal “Buy One, Gift One” initiative.

Inside each Happy Meal are two special toys—a child receives the first toy, and then the second toy can be given to a sibling, a friend, or anybody who will appreciate the gift. More than the toys, “Buy One, Gift One” is one of the many ways McDonald’s is highlighting the value of sharing.

Every feel-good moment that comes with every Happy Meal extends beyond the act of sharing a meal and a toy and actually reaches the lives of many preschoolers all over the country.

For every Happy Meal purchase, a portion of the sale goes to RMHC, to fund the construction of Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers in different communities. Each Bahay Bulilit serves as a safe space for preschool kids to learn and play, and for the kids to develop basic skills that will prepare them for formal schooling.

To date, there are 53 Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers all over the country, serving the early childhood care and development needs of at least 5,000 children every year.

And this Christmas, every child attending all 53 Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers will also get to enjoy a special McDonald’s meal and a Happy Meal toy—a surprise Holiday treat for thousands of learners.

Said Dr. Yang: “It’s truly inspiring when all of us come together and share our blessings, especially for a cause as worthy as supporting the education of young children. Education truly is one of the greatest gifts we can give children, and it’s a mission that we at McDonald’s support all year round.”

Christmas cheer at the drive-thru and on the menu

McDonald’s also invites guests and customers to experience unique Holiday vibes at the drive-thru. Colorful lights, Christmas decor, and other surprises await customers as they enter the McDonald’s drive-thru, making what would normally be an ordinary experience truly magical and inspiring.

Even the McDonald’s menu has Christmas-inspired items that customers can enjoy. These include the new McDonald’s Honey Butter Chicken and the White Choco Cereal McFlurry—sweet treats to satisfy Holiday cravings.

This year, McDonald’s Philippines hopes to bridge that gap by giving select groups a chance to celebrate for free. Dubbed “Grand Reunion at McDo,” this nationwide holiday initiative will transform select McDonald’s Party Rooms into festive spaces for meaningful reunions happening simultaneously across the country, bringing the warmth of the season back to those who need it most.

“By creating spaces where groups can once again gather meaningfully, McDonald’s taps directly into the Filipino cultural values of pagsasama-sama, pagsasalo-salo, and gratitude. It offers a simple yet heartfelt reminder that those who help make Christmas special for others deserve their own celebration too,” said Ada Lazaro, Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald's Philippines.

How to be part of McDonalds’ Grand Reunion

Customers are invited to visit McDonald’s Philippines’ Facebook Page and share their story on the Grand Reunion post — why they want to come together, what kept them apart, and what makes their bond worth celebrating. On December 8 from 2-4pm, McDonald’s will accommodate groups of up to 10 members, with two groups per party Room for a total of 20 guests.

Aside from a heartwarming and distinct story, participants will be selected based on how their stories embody the spirit of togetherness during the Christmas season. Participants may choose their preferred McDonald’s branch.

Each group will receive boxes of Honey Butter Chicken McDo, made extra special with a “shake, tear, and sprinkle” moment using Garlic Parmesan and Snow Cheese Powder. It’s a simple ritual that turns the meal into something to savor together. A McDonald’s “Happiness Host” will also be there not just to lead light games or toasts, but to help make the gathering feel a little more shared, a little more memorable.

Reinforcing Filipino values

Lazaro added the initiative aims to reinforce Filipino values of bonding and connection during the Christmas season by offering a venue for meaningful reunions.

“In a season that can often feel overwhelming with crowded schedules, growing expenses, and emotional demands, Grand Reunion at McDo offers a refreshing alternative, a warm, uncomplicated, and inclusive holiday gathering that doesn’t require grand preparations,” she quipped.

Along with the people of Biliran, McDonald’s Philippines and RMHC gathered together on August 16 to celebrate the unveiling of this milestone learning center, located in Barangay Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.

As the 50th Bahay Bulilit, Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit Biliran is made even more special with colorful interiors, a playground, solar panels donated by RH Solar to help power the space, and a vibrant mural by local artist Niño Torcuator. The mural depicts children’s imagination, learning, and play, woven with symbols of Biliran’s culture and history. Like all other Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers, it also has a dedicated learning area, a reading corner, a washroom, and is well-stocked with books—ready to serve up to 100 children each school year.

The turnover celebration of Bahay Bulilit Biliran was just as special as the facility itself. Representatives from the local government, McDonald’s Philippines, RMHC, partner organizations like RH Solar and Coca-Cola Philippines, volunteers, and other guests came together to celebrate—not just with the children who will soon use the facility and their parents, but with families from the surrounding community. The day was filled with activities and entertainment for all ages, capped off with McDonald’s meals that brought everyone together in the spirit of giving every child a safe place to learn and play.

Leading the celebration were officials from the Municipality of Naval, Biliran led by Gretchen Espina, Mayor of Naval; Nick Arthur Parilla, Vice Mayor of Naval; Margot Torres, McDonald’s Philippines Managing Director and RMHC Board Member; Adi Hernandez, McDonald’s Philippines Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact and RMHC Vice President; Marie Angeles, Executive Director of RMHC; Jan Albert Saulan, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer;  and other partners and supporters.

To make the day even more memorable, Kindergarten Educator Jess Placencia, a passionate advocate for early childhood learning and content creator, was invited to tell stories, join in the fun, and inspire the children of Naval, Biliran.

“The turnover of the 50th Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit is a testament to what we can achieve when different sectors work together,” Hernandez said. “We are especially grateful for the leadership and support of the local government, which prioritizes the care, protection, and welfare of children. This milestone is worth celebrating, but our work doesn’t stop here. The need for access to education for many young Filipinos remains, and so does our commitment. Together, we can reach and help even more children in the years to come.”

The Ronald McDonald Bahay Bulilit is one of McDonald’s Philippines and RMHC’s longest-running programs for children. Since building the first center in 2002, Bahay Bulilit Learning Centers across the country have been supporting the learning needs of children as they prepare to enter kindergarten and grade school. Collectively, all 50 operating Bahay Bulilit centers can serve as many as 5,000 children each year.
