Strawberry Lane Premieres this Coming September 15 after 24 Oras

Bea Binene Tuesday, September 09, 2014

GMA Network is set to captivate and touch our hearts once again as they launch their newest shows this September. One of them is the much anticipated come-back project of the love team "JhaBea". It is entitled "Strawberry Lane" which will air via GMA Telebabad.

Last September 7, GMA held a Bloggers Conference for their upcoming shows and we were able to meet the stars of Strawberry Lane like Joyce Ching, Kim Rodriguez, Joana Marie Tan, Bea Binene,Rita De Guzman, Jake Vargas, Kiko Estrada and Jeric Gonzales. Truly, this young stars are really worth watching, especially because the story features an original and inspiring story of four girls with hopes and dreams, highlighting the significance of family and friends in achieving them. The setting of the series is a bit sensitive since the four girls Bea, Joyce, Kim and Joana are staying at the "juvenile" home. Although "juvenile" is not the term used nowadays because it is derogative, GMA 7 promised that they will tackle the issue to inform people how to handle this kind of situation plus, the story also gives importance about family, friendship, love and trust.

Bea and Jake will also reunite in this tv series and fans are all getting excited because of their new project. Their fans club are very stable and going strong, even until now, "JhaBea" has a strong foundation via social media sites. According to Bea, "Excited po ako sa balik tambalan namin on screen ni Jake kasi po alam ko yung mga fans matagal na ding inintay tong project na to andI am also looking forward to work again with Jake, nakaka-miss din lalo na pag teleserye mas matagal kami magkakasama."

When Jake was aked if he feels any pressure since there are a lot of famous love teams out there he said, "okay lang naman po, ang mahalaga napapasaya natin yung mga viewers, basta ibibigay lang po namin ni Bea yung best namin para mas maging maganda yung mga project na dadating sa amin."

When Bea was asked what can we all expect from the Jake-Bea love team in this teleserye,
“Unang-una, i-expect po nila na ‘yong mismong show bilang matagal nilang hinintay… isang taon nilang hinintay iyon so siguro mai-expect nila na mas gagalingan namin. Lagi naman na kapag may bagong show, padagdag nang padagdag ang expectation kaya mas lalo naming ginagalingan. At saka i-expect din nila ‘yong magandang story. Hindi naman sobrang kakaiba ‘yong istorya pero maganda. More about family and friendship kaya for sure matutuwa sila."

Also part of the upcoming teleserye are the rising stars Joyce Ching and Kim Rodriguez
who have worked together in Tween Academy which is why it also feels like a reunion project form them together with Bea. Kim said that her role is very challenging to her because it is a bit drama yet she will also be portraying a boyish girl. Joyce added that,
“Heartwarming ‘yong story. Very, very feel good para sa mga manonood talaga. Drama. Pero hindi siya ‘yong heavy drama. Maraming mapupulot na aral. Maraming matututunan. "

Joyce said that, "masaya ako and excited but at the same time pressured kasi primetime ito so medyo mataas anf expectation ng mga tao. But with Strawberry Lane, iapapakita namin sa mga tao kung paano aabutin ang mga pangarap kahit maraming challenges."

Joana Marie Tan will also be joining them in the said series and she feels blessed for the chance to portray her role and also a nice project together with the tween stars.

Jeric Gonzales and Kiko Estrada are also part of the said series, Kiko will be paired with Kim Rodriguez who he said he's comfortable working with.

Respected television actors Sunshine Dizon, Christian Bautista, TJ Trinidad, Ms. Chanda Romero and Sheryl Cruz will play equally important roles in the upcoming teleserye.

Kapuso Teen Stars to Topbill in the Newest Teleserye of GMA 7: Niño

Bianca Umali Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Kapuso station GMA 7 never run out of amazing talents to share and soon they will finally open a new chapter of Teleserye that will definitely touch your hearts.

Fortunately, I was able to interview the rising stars of GMA Artist Center who will topbill a new Teleserye that will air this coming May at a Primetime slot.

The wait is finally over as these young, talented and good looking stars of Artist Center sstar on the latest Teleserye "Niño". It will star Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Renz Valerio and Julian Trono. This will soon replace Marian Rivera's Carmela: Ang Pinakamaganda Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw.

Kapuso station is proud and excited to present another Teleserye that will touch the lives of

everyone. It is about Sto. Niño which we Filipinos as a Catholic are very devoted to. It also focuses on values about how strong your faith is, about love, friendship & family.
A story abour how Sto. Niño wil touch the life of a special child and how it will change his life forever.

Miguel Tanfelix shared how excited and nervous at the same time he is with the upcoming serye which will be directed by no less prime director himself, Maryo J. Delos Reyeswho happens to be Miguel's manager too. “Ako po si Niño, parang ano po ako, may problema sa pag-iisip, tapos may kaibigan po ako na Sto. Niño. Nabuhay po siya, tapos siya po iyong magiging kaibigan ko,”.

Miguel Tanfelix was part of the Star Struck Kids back in 2004, since then he has been showcasing his prime talent in acting. Before the camera started rolling, Miguel prepared for his role because he know it will be a very challenging one. “Nag-workshop po kami before kay Direk Maryo po, so iyon po, iyong mga itinuro po sa amin sa workshop ang ia-apply namin para mapaganda ang show.”

Miguel will play the role of Niño Barrinuevo who is a special child. He will have a new friend with the same name as he is Niño played by child actor David Remo.
He will become a beacon of hope and inspiration to his town mates and prove that miracles exist as they enter different lives of people they encounter.

I also asked him since he was a given a very challenging role, a leading role plus it will be aired on primetime, how much pressure does it have on him, “May pressure din po siya kahit papaano, kasi ito po iyong first na lead role ko po, kaya parang may pressure po talaga, hindi po mawawala iyon.“Kahit sa lahat ng show, kahit mapa-support man po iyan, hindi po mawawala ang pressure para sa ikagaganda ng show po,”

Julian Trono and Renz Valerio on the other hand are not new to Teleseryes. They have been part of numerous Teleseryes in GMA 7 and have proven their superb acting skills through the years.

Renz Valerio started out as a child actor and his biggest break was when he starred in the afternoon series "Basang Sisiw" which is a heavy drama series too. We are all used to him playing the good boy or the boy next door, right now, he was given a challenging role as the bad guy. He will portray the role of Niño (Miguel Tanfelix) brother Rafael.

Julian Trono who is also known as the Prince of the Dance Floor will also play a Kontrabida role in this upcoming serye. He will portray the role of Mat-Mat, one of Niño's so-called friends in the neighborhood. According to him, this is a fresh offering of Kapuso station because this time, they will be able to inspire people especially teens who look up to them.

He is thankful to GMA 7 for always trusting him with good projects and at the same time, he promises to give his best with every project that is given to him.

Bianca Umali is also excited with her new Teleserye with feloow Kapuso teen stars. She have worked before with Renz and Miguel in Basang Sisiw and we can say how versatile Bianca is. She truly shows how she loves her craft and how serious she is with it. Aside from this, Bianca, who is lost both her parents at an early age said that she knows how to be responsible at a very young age. She wanted to follow Marian Rivera's footsteps.
Bianca said this new teleserye will has given her a lot of inspiration and taught her more about her religion and faith. With this, she researched more about Sto. Niño and
how Sto. Niño touched the lives of many. She will play the role of Angelica, Niño's best friend.

Joining the cast are Tom Rodriguez as Jonathan, Niño’s hardworking father; Katrina Halili as Hannah, Jonathan’s wife and Niño’s kind-hearted mother; Lotlot De Leon as Leny and Neil Ryan Sese as David, adoptive parents of Niño; German “Kuya Germs” Moreno as Kapitan Pete, the Baranggay Captain of the community; Dante Rivero as Don Pedro, Hannah’s father; Gerald Napoles as Obet, David’s friend; Ces Quesada as Mrs. Santos; Luz Valdez as Tia Epang, David’s aunt and Lola V’s bestfriend; Vincent Magbanua as John, Nino’s friend; and Ms Gloria Romero as Lola V, Niño’s carefree grandmother.

Niño will definitely be a hit to the family as it introduces the “Naynay Commandments”, a set of values and good manners that will teach everyone the importance of being responsible and honest individuals and how these commandments can be applied in everyday life. These Naynay Commandments will also inspire parents to raise their children to be hopeful and loving like Niño all the time.
