Mary Grace Delos Reyes Perido or better known as Louise Delos Reyes

celebrated her 22nd birthday last September 11 at Bagong Pag Asa Elementary School in Quezon City. It was a cpecial birthday celebration because what she did was something different, this is more memorable and fulfilling.

Together with GMA Artist Center, Louise spend the day with the kids, in return she was the one who made the kids happy that day. It was indeed a fun charity event with the SPED students and their teachers. Miss Teresita Dumpit, Principal of Bagong Pag Asa Elementary School was present together with Tess Bomb who hosted the said event.

It was indeed a heartfelt birthday party because Louise said that these kids holds a very special place in her heart since her niece is also special and studying at a SPED school in Cavite. She said that they are very close and every time she would go home and meet her, they would play or listen to music.

Prior to being a big Kapuso star, Louise has been very active in extra curricular activities when she was still studying. She has won beauty contests including Ms. Lyceum of the Philippines University — Cavite 2010, Ms. Teen Philippines International — Luzon 2007, Ms. Jag Teen 2007 and Ms. Teen Super Ferry 2007.

She has played the lead role in the Peque Gallaga indie film Agaton and Mindy, which earned her a Best New Movie Actress nomination from PMPC. She also played in Pilyang Kerubin. One of her earlier big break was when she starred in Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts and in her first lead role Alakdana as Adana. She co-starred with Alden Richards in the GMA7 primetime drama One True Love and of course her latest project Kambal Sirena with Aljur Abrenica.

GMA Artist center prepared activities for the kids together with Louise and all of them were too delighted with the fun games.

The kids also prepared a heart warming program to greet Louise in her special day and it made Louise very emotional, she cried with tears of joy.

When it was her time to share her message to the kids after their performance, Louise can't help but cry in front of all us because she was deeply touched with this wonderful celebration.

She said, “Maraming, maraming salamat po at actually hindi ko ma-contain ‘yung happiness ko. Kasi sobrang malapit sa puso ko ‘yung special kids.”

She then send a message to the families, teachers and love ones who have a special child in their family or someone they know, “Kayo po na mga kamag-anak nila, sana po alagaan ninyo sila. Intindihin natin kung ano ang kalagayan nila. At natutuwa ako na hindi kayo katulad ng ibang magulang na hinahayaan lang talaga ‘yung anak nila na hindi matuto. Nagpapasalamat din ako na may mga ganitong eskwelahan, kasi po sobrang hirap maghanap ng eskwelahan sa mga special kids,”

Before the party ended, Louise shared gifts to the kids of Bagong Pag Asa Elementary School. The kids were so happy, she was hugged by most of the parents and teachers who were present during the event.
