Avida Land, one of the leading mid-market real estate developers in the country, launched a handy cookbook in partnership with Yummy.ph to welcome new homeowners of the recently completed Tower 1 of Avida Towers Altura.

The cookbook titled "40 Best Quick-Fix Recipes for Your New Home" collates easy-to-do recipes of homemade comfort food, some of which are shared by Chef Francis Lim of Tipple and Slaw fame, and includes a map of Avida properties and the nearby groceries and shopping centers. The cookbook will be given as part of the turnover kit for new homeowners to enable them to create delightful experiences at their new home at Avida Towers Altura.

The launch was held on August 19, 2017 at the Avida Showroom South Park District.

This was followed by an interactive cooking demo of comfort dishes by Chef Francis Lim.

Attendees also got a chance to participate in the Mystery Box Cooking Challenge where they created quick-fix meals using only the ingredients from the box. Attendees were also able to appreciate a dining room set-up that exhibited a beautiful way to present your home cooked meals for special occasions. They also received special gift baskets from NutriAsia containing iconic Filipino sauces and condiments that would complement any food preparation or meals at home.

Avida and Kubular Team Up for ART in Space: Art of Sensibly Designed Living in 2-Week Exhibit

Art in Space Saturday, June 18, 2016

Avida Land and Kubular unveil “Art in Space,” a two-week exhibit featuring the aesthetics of creative interiors. This is the first collaboration between Avida, proponent of sensible and inspired living, and Kubular, the furniture design firm from the brains behind graphic design-based apparel brand Team Manila.

In the exhibit, the Avida showroom in Glorietta 4 features never-before-seen pieces from Kubular’s newest collection. Four setups were revealed at the opening event: the living room, the entertainment center, the DJ booth and the display area.

Kubular’s furniture designs carry an industrial, Scandinavian feel—straightforward elements like wood and steel bent into cubes and grids to make furniture that are aesthetically and functionally-designed. Their credo is to create design that is contemporary, flexible and sustainable, with each piece having the ability to add character to a space.

Called “LightStyle Collection,” Kubular’s second collection features cream-colored Birch wood as primary material as light-colored wood elements are essential to complement our busy surroundings. The collection focuses on five pieces:

Stephen, an archival crate-inspired wood and metal plant stand that can work for indoors or outdoors—anywhere you want to give a cozy and inviting feel.

Alex, a bigger version of the Stephen that allows for a stylish and compact way to store any collection.

Max, a multi-purpose storage for the home entertainment system—the combination of Birch, dark metal and bright orange casters marries sleek style and function.

Victor, a minimalist, modern coffee table featuring a smooth rectangular silhouette with the collection’s signature black industrial metal handle and bright orange casters.

Theo, a wider version of the Stephen fits twice more—it’s a craftly-made piece that can be used to display plants, or sleekly hold books and records.

Each piece is also mounted on casters for flexibility and easy movability.

Avida, on the other hand, aims to give a taste of the unique lifestyle in San Antonio Makati with this collaboration. The residential Makati village features a wealth of hidden gems and rare finds in the form of quaint shops, galleries such as Suez and Zapote where Kubular’s pieces are showcased, and interesting cuisine—all seamlessly integrated into the village’s creative residential community. This village is also the home of Avida Towers Asten and their newest Makati development, One Antonio.

Avida Land Marketing Head Tess Tatco emphasized that “Avida and Kubular share the dynamic working millennial demographic—the young, hardworking, creative and culturally-inclined who deserve access to artistically curated and thoughtfully designed living. We want to provide what is essential to their lifestyle—pieces that are of good quality, functional, modern, and sustainable.”

“All the furniture you see here aren’t aspirational—they’re accessible. You can purchase them and take them home to improve your own space after the show. Innovation doesn’t have to be just aspirational. That’s what Kubular and Avida stand for,” adds Mon Punzalan of Kubular.

Art in Space also showcases new releases from Team Manila and Suez & Zapote, an independent space that features diverse applications of art and design through its main medium, silkscreen printing. The exhibit will run until June 30, 2016. Items on display are also available for sale. For more information, please visit avidaland.com.

Start beautiful and healthy beginnings with Avida, Domex and Cif

Avida Tuesday, August 05, 2014

Finite land resources in the metro have led to more and more Filipinos switching to living high above the cities. The growing demand for dynamic urban environments, wherein the comforts of security, proximity to the conveniences of the city, and refreshing atmospheres reminiscent of hotels meet, made vertical living an ideal choice for life starters and most urban dwellers.

The popularity of vertical living has paved the way for a booming property industry, giving rise to numerous condominiums that offer the same comforts. But whether you live in a condo or house and lot, the importance of maintaining a clean home for a healthy family is of utmost importance to Avida.

“We in Avida believe that cleanliness is crucial to those seeking to set off to a great start with their new beginnings in life, largely due to our belief that starting out in a clean home will create healthy and happy families,” said Tess Tatco, Head of Avida Corporate Marketing.

“Unilever Homecare is pleased to partner with Avida in its endeavor because we believe in making life’s new beginnings healthy and clean especially when it concerns families and communities,” said Dennis Chua, Domex and Cif brand manager.

Avida and Unilever’s globally trusted home cleaners DOMEX and CIF share this cause, and are working hand-in-hand to promote healthy living and proper hygiene among Avida homeowners by raising awareness on the use of household cleaning products and encourage developing a habit of keeping homes clean within Avida communities.

Both are promoting healthy living through programs on proper cleaning and sanitation. In partnership with the communities’ respective homeowners associations/Condo Corp. and Avida Customer Care Unit headed by Nancy Delegencia, Unilever will conduct a series of educational talks that will initially benefit more than 6,000 Avida homeowners in Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Cavite, NUVALI.

A cleaning caddy containing a range of Unilever’s household care products such as Domex multipurpose cleaner, Domex toilet bowl cleaner, and everyday household cleaning product. Cif will also be given out to new condominium and house and lot homeowners upon the turnover of their units.

The use of right cleaning products complements Avida promoting healthy living through proper ventilation, free-flowing air and sunlight present in all Avida units. Avida and Unilever thru Domex and Cif are together in this venture for clean and healthy homes, for happier families and better communities.

This partnership is aligned with the Domex 1 Million Clean Toilets campaign, which aims to raise awareness on proper toilet sanitation and provide access to basic sanitation for the less fortunate. This falls under the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan that aims to help improve the health and well-being of more than a billion people. This is in an effort to possibly see a reduction in the number of cases of diarrhea, reported to be the second leading cause of death among children below 5 years old in the Philippines.

So far, the movement has been continuously receiving pledges and it hopes to achieve one million clean toilets, in time for World Toilet Day in November.

Everyone is encouraged to join by signing up for the 1 Million Clean Toilets campaign. Simply visit www.facebook.com/DomexPhilippines, like the page, and pledge by clicking the “One Million Clean Toilets” app or “Pledge Here” button.
