Expect an exciting night and a grand presentation by the best of the best performersin the music industry as the Star Awards for Music goes live after the two-year hiatus due to the global health pandemic.

The glittering and star-studded 13th Star Awards for Music at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre of Newport World Resorts, on October 12, 2022 (Wed.)  will be hosted by RS Francisco, Tessa Prieto, and Ciara Sotto.

Prime balladeer and concert king Martin Nievera , this year's receipient of the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award performs. Other performers include JK Labajo, Maymay Entrata, JV Decena, Natasha Sass, and Joaquin Garcia.

This year, there would be a People's Choice Awards through a website voting via Letsvote.ph for the following categories:  Song of the Year, Duo/Group Artist of the Year, Dance Recording Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year, New Group Artist of the Year, Rap Artist of the Year, New Female Recording Artist of the Year, New Male Recording Artist of the Year, Male R & B Artist of the Year, and Female R & B Artist of the Year.

The 13th Star Awards for Music is headed by PMPC President Fernan de Guzman together with immediate past president Roldan Castro as overall chairman. 

Meanwhile, Solid Ink Media Services is headed by event producer Ms. Grace Mendoza.
