Actor-Director Carlos Morales fulfills his directing passion in the sultry dance film 'Wild Boys'

The PPOP scene has indeed took over not only the country by storm but also worldwide. Filipinos are truly talented when it comes to singing and dancing which is why we never run out of artists pushing their own boundaries just to showcase their own talents.
This what we can expect in this recent Magic Mike, Step Up inspired Film, "Wild Boys".
In the latest film of Direk Carlos Morales, he tackled a story that is close to his heart because aside from his passion in acting and directing, he also loves to dance. “It’s a dream project for me. Noong kasing teenage years ko, I was a dancer at gusto ko talagang gumawa ng film na puwede kong maipakita iyong other side ko, which is dancing,” Direk Carlos said.
Direk Carlos Morales was part of a dance group Exclusive Dancers before he became an actor. They were the dance group exclusively performing for That's Entertainment of German Moreno. "Passion ko talaga ang pag-sasayaw, kaya masaya ako at proud na mailalabas na itong film." He added.
This is not the first directorial job of Direk Morales, his first was in 2015 in the movie "Piring" where he won best screenplay and second best picture award at 2nd World Premieres Film Festival.
He also took up a course in Film Making in New York Film Academy last 2016.
Carlos Morales started his showbiz career as a Sexy Actor in 2000 but later on he became a versatile actor and won Best Actor in Gawad Urian for the movie "Laro sa Bago" directed by Chito Roño. He also won Best Actor in PMPC Star Awards under the worl of Edgardo Reyes. He was then part of other films like "Babaeng Putik", "Red Diaries", "Bigasan" and more.
In 2020, because of the uncertainties brought by COVID 19, he went to the US and pursue his career as a Nurse, he graduated at Olivares College in Parañaque. He took a licensure exam in the US and passed with flying course. “Feeling ko kasi nothing is certain that time. Hindi natin alam kung ano 'yung extent nung COVID na 'yun, so pumunta ako sa States, 'tapos nag-exam ako. Fortunately, I passed and then, my mom died. Medyo parang na-depress din ako, so I have to stay there for a bit bago ako bumalik ngayon."
Fast forward to the present, Direk Carlos is excited to pursue the entertainment industry with a bang! Starting with this sexy film "Wild Boys".

🎥 The cast includes Aljur Abrenica, Vin Abrenica, Martin Escudero, Rolando Inocencio, Inday Garutay, Atak, Bong Alvarez, Nico Locco, Rash Flores, Kristof Garcia, Arwind Santos, Jimboy Martin, Pedro Reo, Christian Ty, Billy James Renacia, Mariposa, Krista Miller, introducing Christian Singson and many more.
The film tells the story of how Samuel, played by Carlos Morales started out young as a macho dancer in a club because of poverty. As he grew older he met his wife Amanda in the said club and started a family yet he never forgot his passion for dancing and his love for the club which is his bread and butter. He then met Inday Garutay who will help him form a make sexy group that will rebrand his club and attract more customers.

The male sexy group was spearheaded by Aljur Abrenica who played a returning OFW that needs start a new life with no money at hand, Vin Abrenica who plays an actor who has a bad reputation because he got addicted with drugs, Nicco Loco is a motorcross player but also needs to jumpstart his career as well as former PBA player Arwind Santos who also plays a basketball player but needs a new career path. Some of the new actors who were part of the sexy male group also give an amazing performance that is really worth the hype. Also watch out for the debut performance of Christian Singson. 🔥
