Last May 18, 2025, the streets of Intramuros were immersed with rich heritage and devotion of the Philippines as The Runway Atelier proudly unveiled the Grand Santacruzan — a momentous celebration in the historic center of Old Manila. The renowned streets of Intramuros were once again flourished with elegance, respect, and magnificence, which showcased a lively procession of queens, angels, and biblical figures — a vibrant reflection of Filipino faith and culture.
Set against the revered backdrop of San Agustin Church and the verdant Puerto Real Gardens, the Grand Santacruzan provided models and their families with a unique opportunity to participate in an extraordinary event where faith intertwines with beauty, and tradition resonates with enduring pride.
Santacruzan, a grand procession that marks the culmination of the month-long Flores de Mayo (Flowers of May) festival. Held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, this event is a blend of religious devotion and cultural celebration, deeply rooted in Filipino Catholic communities. The Santacruzan is more than just a parade; it's a pageant that narrates the search for the True Cross.
