OPPO A60 Review: Budget-Friendly phone that features Military Grade Shock Resistance & Splash Touch

When it comes to affordable phones, we must always try to find the ones that are not only budget-friendly but also durable and worth our money.
By now, you must've known other OPPO A series phone and they are quite remarkable in terms of their different specs. OPPO is gearing to a whole new level with a launch of a tough phone that can withstand smash test and even getting wet in the process.

DESIGN - Sleek & Eye-Catchy
OPPO A60 is available in two colors: Midnight Purple and Ripple Blue. The one I am reviewing is Ripple Blue and I really love its ripple water effect design at the back.
It perfectly fits my hand grip and perfectly fits my grip. Even though you accidentally drop it, it won't break that easily, but we'll go to that part soon.
The top level is for the camera, flash and depth sensor. I love how neat this looks and it doesn't have a bulky bump so as not to get stuck in your pockets when you put it in your jeans or at the top of the table. The other side consists of the power button, volume and finger print scanner. At the bottom part, it has the Speaker, USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack.

The OPPO A60 features specs that isn't really new but comparing considering that it has a Snapdragon 680 chipset, for an affordable phone (price isn't revealed yet in the Philippines but I assure you it is budget-friendly), this quite a must-have. It can perform almost everything you need from browsing to taking quality photos and videos plus if you love online games then you can install it as well. If 256 storage is not enough for you, you can easily expand the memory by using a MicroSD memory card.
Clash Of Clans (COC) using OPPO A60
What I love a out OPPO A60 is the 5000mAh battery. I've been using it all day and it doesn't get drained that easily. I can watch Kdramas all day and at night it can get up to 30% even to the point of using it with Tiktok. The charging speed is also a plus point for an entry-level phone, a full charge can take up to an hour or so, no worries on dead batt with OPPO A60.
CAMERA
The OPPO A60 features 50MP camera and it gives amazing shots especially in well-lit areas. Check out some of the photos I took.
It can take really good shots, I am quite thrilled to use it since I am a blogger, I can fully maximize its camera feature to cover events and also take product shots and food reviews.
DURABILITY
The OPPO A60 has a feature that can be really awesome since this is an entry-level phone. It has military grade shock resistance which means it can withstand high impact. Most phones that have this feature are the expensive ones. To show you that this is really true, we tested the OPPO A60 by using it to chop Filipino dish Conchinillo!

So far, after doing this shot, the phone continued to work without any problems and the screens didn't have any cracks or dents. A new feature of the OPPO A60 that wasn't in previous OPPO A series phones is Splash Touch. This is perfect since PAG-ASA announced that it is officially the start of the rainy season which is why if ever you are caught in the rain and you need to call or text, you can still use your phone even if you drop it accidentally over a splash of water.
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
OPPO A60 is a budget-friendly phone that can do most of your tasks like social media browsing, binge watching, gaming and even photo and video coverages. For its price, it looks really expensive with its water ripple effect if you chose the Ripple Blue Variant. It is also perfect for those who are always on-the-go and if you are clumsy, then this phone is perfect for you. You don't have to worry about drop test or water splash moments because it can withstand it. I can recommend this phone for those on the lookout of affordable phone yet can maximize its capacities.
