The Entertainment industry has been in the dark when the pandemic took over. A lot of actors, singers, dancers and those in the production scene has been engulfed with total sadness and overwhelming fear of what tomorrow may bring. Fast Forward to the present, everything has been back to normal and films, tv shows and concerts are in full blast. 

This is the perfect time for our favorite dance groups to come together and showcase once again their signature dance moves that up until now makes everyone get up and dance on their feet. 

Catch "THE SIGN '90s Supershow: A Benefit Concert" -- a night of nostalgia and memorable dance craze of the popular dance groups of 1990s -- set on April 19, 2024 (Friday), 6:00 pm, at Aliw Theater, CCP Complex, Pasay City!

It’s going to be an unforgettable big dance concert as we make a “throwback” to that wonderful decade where dance groups were a huge hit to the “Batang ‘90s” generation.

Witness some members of the popular dance groups of the ‘90s, gathering all in this big event especially dedicated to the dance community in Philippine entertainment. 

After all, they have simply touched the lives of the Filipinos during that era, especially the masses who have adored and idolized them through the years.


The five (5) popular Main Groups performing on “THE SIGN ‘90s Supershow” are some of the members of the Original STREETBOYS -- Spencer Reyes, Maynar Marcellano, Danilo Barrios, Christo Cruz, Nicko Manalo, Joey Andres, Michael Sesmundo -- along with the Streetboys Juniors: Fritz, Gian, Paulo, and Neil.
Of course, the ‘90s also saw the rise to popularity of THE MANOEUVRES headed by Joshua Zamora, Rene Sagaran, Jonjon Supan, Red and Jhon Cruz.

From the Universal Motion Dancers, we will see Marco Mckinly and Norman Santos strut their ways on stage, along with Kids At Work (headed by Jayjay Del Rosario) and Power X People (headed by Isaac Generoso).

Definitely, these 5 groups have truly made a mark for themselves in showbiz industry, as far as dancing talent and popularity are concerned.

Joining the 5 main groups with performances are Bigmen, Abztract, Dyna Turbo, Teensquad, katz22, Black & White, Mastermind, Blain, Wildcat Queens, and more.

The concert also aims to give inspiration to the dance community of the current generation of 2020s, and learn insights from the more senior dancers.

Hindi lang ito basta sayawan, kundi pagdiriwang ito ng musika, sayaw, at kultura ng Dekada Nobenta. 

“Ang gabing ito ay ‘di lang isang pagtatanghal, ito ay isang MISYON upang magbigay ng inspirasyon sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng kabataang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng sining, sayaw at musika. 

“Layunin ng grupo na magbigay daan at suporta sa bagong henerasyon ng dancers,” says the Executive Producer of the show, Ms. Opalyn Amistoso of Wild Cat Queen Productions.

Spencer Reyes who is also an original member of Streetboys joined the presscon via Zoom since he is already based in United Kingdom. He's been living there for 16 years and now he is working as a bus driver for 6 years. His passion for dancing never wavered and when he is invited to perform by the Filipino community, he would always take part. He is not a father of 3 and his family is based in UK as well. He is excited to be part of this benefit concert because he also wants to give back and help those who loves dancing and wants to pursue their dreams as well.

Meynard Marcellano who is also an original member of Streetboys is currently busy with his growing Belgian Liège Waffles that has branches in Metro Manila. After getting busy working at Miss Saigon and also in Singapore, he is now based in the Philippines as an Entrepreneur. Christo Cruz, also from Streetboys is busy collaborating with UMD member Marco Mckinley in a charity work, helping those who loves to dance as well. 

The upcoming benefit concert will surely help those aspiring dancers that at a young age, they can easily achieve their dreams because someone believe in them. So, don't miss this chance to meet your idols in the dance floor and at the same time help this young bloods achieve their dreams.
