Anton Paras released his 3rd single 'Can't Wait' under Alt G Records

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anton Paras reminds listeners of the enduring power of love and hope even in the face of separation via his latest single under AltG Records, “Can’t Wait.”
During the media conference of Anton, he shared that he is excited and grateful at the same time because he was able to do another single, this is his 3rd single now under Alt G Records. The song is about a guy expressing how he feels about his long-distance relationship with the love of his life. It is inspired by the emotional challenges faced by long-distance couples and families with loved ones working abroad, especially Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Anton believes that, at the right time, they will reunite and be complete once more.
“I decided to create ‘Can’t Wait’ because of our fellow countrymen working abroad. I wanted to make a song that they could relate to, something that could serve as an inspiration for what they are going through, to help them cope with homesickness. Even in long-distance relationships, I believe that at the right time, they will come together in the end,” shares Anton.
The single also showcases Anton’s versatility as an artist because of its different genre and vibe from his previous works. “This is a totally different genre from the ones I’m used to. If the outcome of this song comes out positive, I will create more songs like this one.”
Even though Anton is busy with his music career, he also manages to balance his time with school. His dream is to perform a concert in Araneta Coliseum and his dream collab is with Julie Anne San Jose. Not only can he play guitars but he can also play drums, piano and yukelele. Composing songs is his passion and he loves writing songs to interpret how he perceives the people around him, his feelings or what everyone is going through. He still have a lot of works and wishes to compose more songs in the future.
Anton Paras is also nominated in the 36th Awit Awards for People's Voice Favorite Male Artist, you can still vite until October 31.
