The country’s hottest girl group, Calista, was named as the headline performer in the “Vax to Normal” concert happening on April 26 (6 p.m.) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Calista, the concert’s main star, is composed of six multi-talented girls: Alluring Olive, Sweet Laiza, Edgy Anne, Sporty Denise, Chic Elle, and Fiery Dain. They are managed by Tyronne Escalante Artist Management (TEAM) and is being produced by Merlion Events Production Inc. They promoted the concert during the press launch for their debut single, “Race Car”.

The press was also given an exclusive look at the multimillion-peso music video right before it was revealed to the public.

Guest performers for the tribute concert include Yeng Constantino, AC Bonifacio, Elmo Magalona, Andrea Brillantes, Darren Espanto, and Ken San Jose. “Vax to Normal” is set to be telecast on TV5. The concert is produced by Merlion Events Production Inc. and is directed by Nico Faustino. Dance icon Nesh Janiola and Carlos Serrano III choreographed the production numbers with the help of musical director Soc Mina.

As the name suggests, “Vax to Normal” is a tribute concert for the country’s frontliners, especially healthcare workers who are striving to fight COVID-19 in order to bring the country back to normal.

We’re slowly working our way back to how things were before the pandemic. And this wouldn’t have been possible if not for our brave frontliners. They deserve all the praise and this is our way of saying thanks. It’s been a tough two years, and we think it’s important to also do things like this concert to spread hope,” Escalante shares.
