If you’re in the market for a new smartphone because your old phone broke down on you or it was lost or probably you just want to upgrade, you might be daydreaming about spending all your hard earned money on the latest top tier brands.
However, the sad reality is that these phones can break the budget and what could be the difference if they offer the same impeccable features and specs, if you can buy a much more affordable one that competes with the same intensity.

I've recently got the chance to review OPPO A54 and honestly speaking, it is indeed a reliable android phone that you can use nowadays especially for those on a budget.
It's a phone offering a range of features like 6.51 inch display perfect for binge Kdrama watching on Netflix and 5,000 mAh battery which is very recommendable and of course, a decent camera (triple rear AI) for those who loves doing selfies, travel shots and TikTok videos. Yes, TikTok! All of this under the price range of 10k!

The phone is available in Crystal Black and Starry Blue. It is smooth and comfy to hold in your hand and it also has some well-placed buttons. To the left-hand side are the volume controls, while the right side offers the power/unlock button, which also doubles as a fingerprint sensor.
OPPO A54 has a 5,000mAh battery with a 18W fast charging, if you're a blogger like me, it can give you ample enough time to cover events but if you're into gaming or can use different apps for a day, it might have a big difference.
On the back, you will not find a fingerprint sensor here but you will not notice it anyway if you're not used to it. The camera lenses look suitably noticeable and gives a more sleek design of the phone.
When it comes to how well the camera performs, the 16MP main camera is quite competent and I had some good results when it came to picking up details, as well as zooming in, together with taking videos. It gives amazing results as well to low-light areas.
Other features includes panoramic, portrait, time-lapse, night portrait, macro, slo-mo and expert mode.
The selfies are quite good as well since it has AI Beautification and you can either highlight the lighting or exposure. You can even add stickers.
