The Clash season 1 alumni Garrett Bolden and Kyryll are truly humbled and more eager to showcase their honed talent in singing as they were recognized in the prestigious  33rd Awit Awards held via livestream last August 29.

The 33rd Awit Awards was livestreamed Saturday night, amid the lockdowns put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Kapuso Soul Princess Kyryll won "Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist" for her song "Silent Rumblings." It was written by Bel Andres for GMA Music. Her potential only proves that no matter what happens, if you really aim to conquer your dreams, it will really happen. Kyryll shared that she still can't believe that she won her very first award, it's an overwhelming feeling for her and she feels very thankful and grateful to GMA Network, Artist Center, GMA Music and her supporters for being so supportive of her since day one.

Meanwhile, Garett Bolden won "People's Choice Award - Favorite New Male Artist."

After being named as New Male Recording Artist of the Year at the 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music last January, the soul balladeer is humbled to receive the People's Choice Awards for Favorite New Male Artist at this year’s Awit Awards. His efforts are finally being recognized and he won't stop at that, he would push himself more and reciprocate all the support and love that he is getting from the fans by giving his best and his all. He is thankful to GMA Network, Artist Center and GMA Music for believing in him.
