Golden Cañedo releases new single 'Walang Hanggang Sandali' under GMA Music

The Clash season 1 grand champion Golden Cañedo has released her new single “Walang Hanggang Sandali” under GMA Music which is now available for download and streaming via digital music platforms worldwide.
The track, a romantic ballad about a chance encounter, was composed and written by OPM veterans Ebe Dancel, Yumi Lacsamana, Herbert Hernandez, and Jim Paredes.
“I feel blessed and honored na ipinagkatiwala po nila sa akin ang kantang ito. I look upto them dahil sila 'yung mga pinapakinggan ko noon and hinahangaan ko 'yung mga kanta nila. And now ako na mismo ang kakanta ng gawa nila. Also, thankful din po ako sa GMA Network, GMA Artist Center, and GMA Music dahil ako ang napili nila na magbigay-buhay sa kantang ito.”
The singer was supposed to record the single last February in time for Valentine’s but she encountered a series of delays because of unforeseen circumstances.
"Noong February po nag-plan na kami na i-record ‘yung song pero sadly, nag-lockdown po. Tuloy-tuloy nagka-COVID-19 so na-cancel po siya. Noong time na nawala ‘yung lockdown, nagplan po kami ulit pero ang kaso nagka-problem naman po ako sa jaw ko, like nagpa-pop po siya,” she said during the virtual conference for the single’s launch.
The song was likewise a product of the 1st Filscap Master camp, the first major songwriting collaboration in the Philippines.
"Walang Hanggang Sandali” is about chance encounters and how destiny works behind-the-scenes in meeting the right person to love. Having been in a relationship herself, Golden shared the feeling of finding her special someone, “Siyempre si Lord talaga ang nakakalaam kung sino ang nakatadhana para sa atin. At kapag dumating na ang perfect time na 'yun, 'yun na ang magiging simula ng 'Walang Hanggang Sandali.' Masarap ma-in love lalo na sa tamang tao.”
Last August 25, GMA Music finally launched the single and it’s now available for download or streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and other music stores worldwide.
