In case you missed it, GMA Network is producing a remake of the popular K-Drama Descendants of the Sun! And in the local network's 2020 teleserye line up video. 

As we get a glimpse of the upcoming show starring Jennylyn Mercado as Dr. Kang Mo-Yeon (originally portrayed by Song Hye Kyo) and Dingdong Dantes as Captain Yoo Si-Jin (portayed by Song Joong-ki). They're joined by Jasmine Curtis-Smith, who plays the character of Yoon Myeong-Joo, and Rocco Nacino as Master Sergeant Seo Dae-Young.

 They teased that iconic shoelace scene in the preview, too! 

As we draw near the launch of GMA Drama’s biggest offering this 2020, which is also GMA’s 70^th anniversary, everyone's getting excited about the much awaited Filipino take on DOTS.   

GMA did a number of Kdrama remakes before (Full House, Ako si Kim Sam Soon, All About Eve, Stairway to Heaven, My Love From The Star), and now we have the Philippine Adaptation of Descendants of the Sun, which is world-class as well in terms of making.

All the actors and new stars of the series underwent intensive training and workshop so that they can portray their respective roles well.

Descendants of the Sun is led by no less than Direk Dominic Zapata. Some of his prime works are Mulawin, My Husband's Lover, Alyas Robinhood, Victor Magtanggol and Kara Mia among others.
