Mika is a dreamer and loves to be good role model for the youth. She wants to inspire new upcoming young performers like her to keep reaching their dreams.

In US, Mika has been singing since the age of 8.  She started performing at local Filipino/Asian/American festivals and events.  Her mainstream experiences started as front act performer to different celebrities from Manila who performed in California. That's when she found her passion for music. Mika's 1st album SOMEDAY has 5 original songs ( Someday, The Best Thing, Echoes In Heaven, Kailan Kailan and Pangarap) which is available in iTunes and Spotify.  Her 6th original song "BELIEVE" was produced by IAMSTAR MUSIC GROUP.  The song was recorded in LA and is also available in Spotify.
Mika also enjoys dancing while performing. She underwent private dance lessons with JB Pappas, Choreographer and part of G-Force.

Some of her closest friends in THE CLASH were present like Anthony Rosaldo, Jong Madaliday, Kyryll Ugdiman, XOXO girl group together with Nikki Co and Dave Bornea.

THE CLASH grand winner Golden Cañedo was also present and sung a duet with
Mika Gorospe.

Mika chose to celebrate her birthday in a different way because she also wanted to share her blessings and SOS Village is the perfect venue.

SOS Children’s Villages is a private, non-political, non-denominational organization that provides family-like care to children in need. With the support of our friends and partners, we work to ensure that each child will grow up in a loving home.

In the Philippines, the first SOS Children’s Village was founded on May 1, 1967 in the province of Batangas. Now we have 8 villages spread across the country, and there are almost 1,000 children and young adults who live under our care. In the communities, we give support and intervention to approximately 5,600 families.

In 1949, Hermann Gmeiner founded the first SOS Children’s Village in Tyrol, Austria. He was a child welfare worker, and he saw how children suffered and were left orphaned as a result of World War II. He pioneered the family-like approach to helping children who have lost parental care.

Today, they are located in 134 countries and territories around the world. Our 571 SOS Children’s Villages are home to most of the approximately 86,000 children and young adults in our family-like care program. We also work in the communities to provide support and intervention to families at risk of breaking down. More than 467,000 people participate in our family strengthening programs.

Happy birthday Mika Gorospe!
