Iwas Buwis-it will also feature business tips from Potato Corner CEO Jose Magsaysay, Jr., and interviews with James Reid and Boy Abunda.
Why should people know about tx management and why should we
consider being tax managed?
"The goal of the book is to help people understand taxes — not the technical knowledge, just the understanding of why we're taxed, how are we taxed, and what kind of taxes we pay," said ACG Founding Chairman Mon Abrea, "Iwas Buwis-it won't be about how to file this return or pay that tax. The book is about life in general — your careers, your ideals, or even your business ideas."
Like its previous publications, Iwas Buwis-it is part of ACG's advocacy of helping taxpayers by educating them. If taxpayers know more about taxes, then they can avoid committing unnecessary violations. To further this advocacy, the Asian Consulting Group has also led seminars and consultations throughout the country.
The book aims to give a basic overview of taxes - not oo technical and intimidating which will cover: Taxes: From Birth to Death, Choosing The Right Career, Buhay Empleyado, The Raket Life, Best of Both Worlds: Career Paths, The Story of James Reid’s Passion, Fast Talk, Reversed with Boy Abunda, What are Social Enterprises?, 7 Causes of Heartbreaks When, Starting a Business, 5 Tips to Survive the BIR Audit without Compromises, Even Generosity is Taxable, Business Tips from CEO Jose Magsaysay, Jr., Strategic Reforms That We Need Now and 5 Things That Wont Be Taxed From The Grave.
At its main office, the company also conducts the Tax Hub Talks, which features a variety of topics. The Philippine Tax Whiz Mon Abrea has also written other publications for the non-profit organization Center for Strategic Reforms of the Philippines, including the bestselling tax handbook, "Got A Question About Taxes? Ask The Tax Whiz!" as part of his advocacy.
"A lot of people are afraid of taxes, but whether we like it or not, we have to pay taxes," said the ACG Founder. "If we make taxes more accessible and easier to understand, then maybe people won't be afraid of it."
Just like James Reid, Kian Cipriano, and Boy Abunda, Kapuso star Bea Binene also endorses Asian Consulting Group and has been taking the advice of Mon Abrea since she is also an entrepreneur.
