Kelvin Miranda and Angel Guardian stars in One Hugot Away's 'Beauty and the Hypebeast'

From the core group that continues to make groundbreaking and award-winning documentaries and programs comes One Hugot Away featuring digital love stories set to make hearts flutter beginning today.
Produced by GMA Public Affairs, One Hugot Away brings to life short film love stories made for digital format, which will also be shown on television. The series will be available on GMA Network’s Facebook and YouTube accounts while snippets will also be aired on GMA 7 all throughout the day.
The first series featured Shaira Diaz and David Licauco. Now, on its second series, it features two of the most promising stars of GMA Artist Center:
KELVIN MIRANDA and ANGEL GUARDIAN.
Kelvin Miranda is JOE, the hypebeast in "Beauty and the Hypebeast"
Kelvin has appeared in several Kapuso shows like "Ang Forever Ko'y Ikaw". Now, he will top bill the digital series with a leading lady. According to Kelvin, this is the first time that he will be paired in a sort of "love team" because he usually stars as a supporting cast. He enjoyed working with Angel because she is bubbly and fun to be with.
He shared that as Joe, the hypebeast in the series, he enjoyed his character because he really dressed and act as a hypebeast. He loves to portray challenging roles and hopefully he can do more in the future because he also loves drama and different genres as well.
Kelvin looks up to Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes and he wishes he can be as versatile as he is. He also wishes that he can work with John Arcilla in the future because he is a an award winning actor and he believes that he can learn a lot from him as an actor.
Aside from "Beauty and The Hypebeast", Kelvin will also star in the upcoming films "Ang Henerasyong Sumuko sa Love" and "Dead Kids" which will be showing soon.
Angel Guardian is Cat in the digital series "Beauty and the Hypebeast"
Angel has appeared in Kapuso show "Onanay". In Beauty and the Hypebeast, it will be her first time to star as the main cast. She said that she enjoyed working with Kelvin because he is very comfortable to be with, they jive and they can talk about almost anything, he makes every scene easier for her.
As Cat in Beauty and the Hypebeast, she will play a rich girl who will later on meet a hypebeast who is Joe and will change her outlook in life and maybe in Love as well...
Angel recently signed with GMA Music, according to her, she doesn't want to focus on acting alone but also wishes to pursue her first love which is singing. Ever since she was a kid, she really loves to sing. She knows how to play some musical instruments and also composes her own songs. Soon, she hopes she can also create a music of her own. She can sing different genres as well.
Angel will also be part of the upcoming film "Black Lipstick" co-starring Kyline Alcantara.
The short film "BEAUTY and the HYPEBEAST will be available starting JUNE 3 in GMA Network's YouTube and Facebook accounts while snippets will be aired in between GMA-7 programs throughout the day.
