For our Chocolate Lover Moms... Triple Chocolate Walnut Muffins ala Mode
Let Mom indulge in this triple chocolate goodness. The Samsung Smart Oven functions as a convection oven and a microwave that can be used for baking, grilling, slim frying, defrosting, steaming and even making yogurt. It has Hot Blast Technology, which blows powerful hot air through multiple air holes for food to be cooked evenly - - making it perfect for cooking or baking.
Ingredients:
● 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
● ⅓ cup softened salted butter
● ¼ cup all-purpose cream
● 1 ¼ cup cake flour
● 1 cup granulated sugar
● 1 whole egg
● 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
● ½ tsp. baking soda
● ¾ cup water
● ½ cup chopped walnut
● 1 pint chocolate ice cream
● chocolate syrup
Instructions:
1. Combine chocolate and softened butter in a bowl, and then set the Samsung Smart Oven to Microwave setting with 700 watts and 1 minute.
2. Once melted, mix using a whisk
3. Add sugar, vanilla extract, baking soda, walnuts and egg. Mix till everything is combined well
4. Add flour and continue to mix.
5. Add water and all-purpose cream, mix till it’s combined smoothly
6. Pour mixture into muffin paper or ceramic cups
7. Press Microwave mode, set to 180 Celsius degrees, in 3 minutes and 30 seconds
8. Let them cool for 15 minutes and transfer in a plate
9. Top with chocolate ice cream and syrup, or whatever you fancy.
For cheese lover Moms… Fried SpinachCheesy Balls
Cheesy, gooey and crispy! The Samsung Smart Oven comes with a Crusty Plate that is made for creating a crispy golden frying experience, perfect for this recipe.
Ingredients:
● 1/2 cup cream cheese
● 1 cup mozzarella
● 1 cup parmesan cheese
● 1 cup finely chopped spinach
● 2 cloves garlic, chopped
● 1 pinch of salt and pepper
● flour
● 1 egg, beaten
● Japanese bread crumbs
● Marinara dip (optional)
● 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. Mix cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, flour, salt, pepper, and spinach in one bowl.
2. Place in freezer for 20 mins to firm up.
3. Mold cheese-spinach mixture into 1 inch balls, roll in the flour, dip in beaten egg and cover with bread crumbs
4. Put 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in the Crusty Plate and drop the balls, press Slim Fry and choose number 3 in the pre-set programs for the food to cook in 8 minutes.
5. You may serve it with a marinara dip or eat it on its own!
For our Health Conscious Moms… Dragon fruit Smoothie Bowl
This healthy treat will take you less than 5 minutes to make! If you didn’t get to prepare the frozen fruits a night before, you can use the Power Cool system feature of Samsung Twin Cooling Plus Refrigerator. Ingredients:
● 1 ½ cup frozen dragon fruit
● 1 cup frozen bananas
● ½ cup frozen pineapple
● 1 cup water or almond milk
● Chia seeds
● Granola
● ½ cup sliced mangoes for garnish
Instructions:
1. Slice and freeze the dragon fruit, banana and pineapple
2. Put dragon fruit, banana and pineapple in a blender or bullet mixer
3. Add water or almond milk if it’s too hard to be blended
4. Pour in a cup and garnish with granola, chia seeds and sliced mangoes (you can slice mangoes with a smiley or a heart -- even letters such as ILY for a sweeter surprise)
