PUREGOLD Launches KAINdustriya Convetion 2018 'Ang Panalong Sangkap for SUCCESS'

Puregold Price Club has always been in the forefront of helping micro entrepreneurs and supporting the country's small medium enterprises through its annual food business convention - KAINdustriya.

This year, PUREGOLD adds a different flavor to its yearly food event by catering to the young and thriving market and launching competitions that are set to spark the millennials' inner entrepreneur.

To encourage a new breed of entrepreneurs, this year's KAINdustriya Convention with the theme "Ang Panalong Sangkap for Success," will hold the second year of KAIN U: An Interschool Food Business Competition that features promising food ideas and businesses of college students; and MIX MASTERS: Flairtending and Mixing Competition that features young and talented mixologists and flaitenders in the country.

Finalists of KAIN U will have the chance to make their business plan a reality. In the two-day Kaindustriya Convention, the finalists will actually set up booths for selling their original products. While a mobile bar grand prize awaits this year's Mix Masters Grand Winner.

Added in the mix of this year's Kaindustriya competition is the introduction of the first ever Kaindustriya Council. Composed of Celebrity Chef Kennedy Alfonso, Business Coach Euclid Cezar and Liquido Maestro Chef Kalel Demetrio, the Kaindustriya Council is set to mentor the finalists from the eliminations all the way to the grand finals.

KAIN U participants will be mentored by no other than edupreneur mentor Euclid Cezar. He started the successful Famous Belgian Waffles franchise here and abroad. As a lecturer at the Philippine Trade Training Center under the Department of Trade and Industry, he also trains and delivers lectures on entrepreneurship and business around the country.

Meawhile, Mix Masters finalists will be mentored by co-owner of Agimat Foraging Bar and Kitchen Chef Kalel Demetrio. One of the top mixologists in the metro, Demetrio is psyched to guide these young bloods and program their mindset to raise the bar in the Philippine bartending scene.

Participants for both competitions are welcome to register until Septemeber 7, 2018. They are set to face for the elimination round on Septemeber 11, 2018 at Puregold QI Central.

Although Puregold is expanding to cater to the younger market, it still upholds its advocacy to help entrepinoys though its annual cook-off. The search for KAINtrepreneur 2018.

As part of the KAINdustriya Council, Chef Kennedy Alfonso will impart his culinary expertise to help level up the dishes of participating Tindahan ni Aling Puring member participants. Alfonso is head of operations and executive chef of Bueno Tapas and Wine Restaurant.

The ten finalists from the recently concluded elimination rounds will compete against each other in a culinary showdown for the highly-coveted title and grand rpize of one year free groceries from Puregold.

Each contestant will be paired with a chef or cooking expert from some of the country's biggest food industries including Nestle Philippines, Unilever Food Solutions, CDO Foodsphere Inc., Nutri-Asia Inc., San Miguel, Bounty Fresh, Alaska, Century Pacific Foods, Del Monte Philippines and Monde Nissin Corporation-Mama Sita's.

KAINdustriya is a segment under Puregold's flagship membership - Tindahan ni Aling Puring. Since its creation in 2012, it has been promoting Kain, Kita and Kabuhayan to smal and medium-sized food business entrepinoys.
