The much awaited Filipino version of "Miss Granny" finally had their red carpet premiere last August 20 at Trinoma with the star-studded cast and attended by their celebrity friends and Viva Artists.

Spotted at the premiere night was the other half of JaDine - Nadine Lustre who is in full support of her significant other James Reid.

Kim Chiu was also spotted supporting Xian Lim.

The event was jam packed with fans waiting for Xian Lim, James Reid and Sarah Geronimo. When they arrived, no time was wasted, everybody got really excited to see them.

In the original 2014 South Korean version, the movie revolves around the story of a 70-year-old woman who finds herself trapped inside the body of her 20-year-old self played by Korean actress Shim Eun-Kyun.

Fast forward to 2018, Veteran actress Nova Villa plays the role of Fely who later on went to Forever Young Studio and after having her photo taken turned 50 years younger played by Sarah Geronimo who now takes the name Audrey de Leon, after the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn. She was especially close to her grandson Jeboy Malabano played by James Reid and to Buboy Garovillo's character. Later on Audrey will be part of Jeboy's band which will later on be noticed by music producer Xian Lim that will make them famous.

Miss Granny made me love Sarah Geronimo even more. She’s an excellent actress and singer, full of charm combining drama & comedy so perfectly. I can’t imagine anyone else portraying the role of Audrey De Leon, it’s helmed only to Sarah Geronimo.

James Reid on the other hand as Jeboy is complimented well with Sarah,  they actually look good together in the big screen, I hope they will do another project in the future plus James looks really really good in every angle & shots, the way he looks at Sarah will make any girl melt. I also love the soundtrack of the film, the retro songs plus the original song of Sarah Geronimo"Isa Pang Araw" is such a remarkable song that made me cry while watching the film, the meaning of the song will really go straight to your heart.

Ms. Nova Villa made the movie even more remarkable, she is a wonderful actress who made me miss my grandmother even more. Her back to back performance with Sarah Geronimo and Nonie Buencamino is indeed a must-watch. The ensemble of actors in Miss Granny is just perfect. This movie will make you appreciate your family even more, the core of Filipino values is there, I think we Filipinos have this trait of not taking for granted our family even our grandparents and lastly, Life is short, there are a lot of instances in the movie that this is highlighted which points out that we should enjoy every minute of it and make the most out of it, while we don't have all the time in the world, let's show our love to our family and check all those bucket list too.

MISS GRANNY is showing on AUGUST 22 in cinemas nationwide
under VIVA FILMS.
