ARJO ATAYDE in BUYBUST: One of his most remarkable role yet

We've seen a lot of police versus criminals movies and the hunger to stop the crimes plus more thinking I've seen it all, but not until you've watched an Erik Matti film tackling the darkest, the filthiest and gruesome world of drugs and what's goes in and out.

BUYBUST is about two teams deployed by anti-drug enforcement agency whose mission is to conduct a buy-bust operation in the slums of Manila. Sounds simple but it definitely isn't. When the team ends up being trapped inside Gracia ni Maria, things gets ugly and complicated and it's gets hard to stay alive and protect themselves against a ruthless gang which is headed by a mysterious and elusive drug lord that will make you have goosebumps once you know who that person is.

Arjo Atayde is part of this amazing film BUYBUST and honestly speaking, he is without a doubt a remarkable actor that can do an almost everything, I think even the unimaginable just to make any project he has worth watching. Time is well spent when you watch him portray the antagonist or the protagonist. He manages to gives his very best on every role he does and it always ends up something fresh and unique, compared to his past kontrabida roles, he made it sure that this would really stand out.

I felt privileged to watch #Buybust on its red carpet premiere and it was nice to see Arjo Atayde looking like the typical boy-next-door with that sweet smile of his but wait till you see him on this film, don't be fooled with that handsome and cute dimples because once the camera starts rolling, you'll see a different Arjo Atayde in BUYBUST, and you will definitely not forget his role starting from his voice alone that will give you chills, the way he spills his lines too, plus his scenes with Anne Curtis is truly a badass and stand out one. For sure this movie will be another addition to his roster of achievements. For someone like Arjo, there's more for him to explore and I wish this continues since he really has a lot to offer with his enormous passion for his craft. The Entertainment industry needs more of him.

All in all, BUYBUST is a film that will surely stand out from the rest. It's INTENSE and It's HARDCORE that you need to hold on to your sits. I love the camera shots, the almost neon-dark lighting, the believable slum surroundings and the sounds, I'll not get too technical but I just love how they make it more suspense because of the intense sounds during the breathtaking and impressive action and fights scenes, kudos to all the cast for making it so amazing I think my mouth was hanging open with those sequences.

Truly, there's more to the Filipino Film industry and thanks to a director, staff and crew and the actors who never settle for anything less, they definitely nailed a movie fit for the world to see.
