The cast of My Guitar Princess as they share their respective roles that you will surely love in your new daily noontime slot before Eat Bulaga.

My Guitar Princess tells the story of Celina Raymundo ( Julie Anne San Jose), an 18-year-old girl who loves to sing and to play the guitar but is a little insecure of her talent.

Julie Anne sahres how excited and thankful she is to finally do a musical serye via GMA Network, it has been one of her bucket list to do a musical show and at the same time act as well. This is a great opportunity for her to share her talent when it comes to singing, there will be all original songs that will be feature in different episodes that will somehow be connected with her role and other characters as well.

The Asia's Pop Sweetheart also shared how she can very well relate to her role as "Celina" because just like Celina, it wasn't that easy for her to enter the showbiz industry, her father didn't like the idea of her of being on the limelight but since it was her dream she pursued it, balancing studies and joining singing contests even when she even reached a point in her life that she almost lost hope and wanted to just stop trying but eventually, step by step, her singing prowess gave her the big chance to land on different shows and the rest is history.

Julie Anne San Jose will be paired for the first time with Gil Cuerva and Kiko Estrada, who will be his knight in shining armor in this serye? Find out if their chemistry is perfect as the story unfolds weekdays.

Celina's mother is Adele Raymundo (played by Ms. Sheryl Cruz), she disapproves and discourages her from singing. Yet the pull towards the inevitable proves to be strong. Celina’s talent will be the driving force for her to share her craft with other people. Will this strengthen the bond she has with her mother or will it tear them apart? 

Celina will also find herself caught between two guys who will fall in love with her - Elton Smith and Justin Garcia. Kind, smart and talented, Elton is a 20-year-old singer based abroad who is more known to his fans as the “prince charming of pop.” Giving life to Elton’s character is Kapuso heartthrob Gil Cuerva, who returns to the small screen after his successful debut TV series My Love From The Star.

According to Gil, the moment he got the role as Elton, he knew there will be scenes that he will sing or dance, although he is not used to doing it, he is very well willing to showcase this other side of him which is why he took several workshops to enhance his talent in singing and dancing as well. According to Gil, he is very comfortable working with Julie Anne because she is very nice and very professional too.

 Justin, on the other hand, will be Celina’s confidante who will eventually fall in love with her. Taking the role of Justin is Kapuso heartthrob Kiko Estrada who previously starred in the primetime series Mulawin VS Ravena. 

Increasing the tempo of the story are some of today’s hottest stars including Isabelle de Leon and Jazz Ocampo who play Taylor and Katy Garcia, respectively - Justin’s sisters who are set to make life difficult for Celina. 

Helping Celina is her ever-supportive friend Britney portrayed by Marika Sasaki.

Meanwhile, playing Elton’s manager is Marc Abaya. One Up’s Ralf King is Adam, Justin’s closest pal. Playing important roles as well are Kier Legaspi as Elvis Soriano, Frank Garcia as George Garcia, Maey Bautista as Yaya Dolly, Rob Sy as Michael, and veteran actress Lui Manansala as Manang Barbara.

Julie Anne shared an advice to those, like her, who nevered wavered in aspiring her dream to perform because it her passion. According to Julie Anne, never lose hope, have faith and follow your dreams. 

My Guitar Princess is the first-ever TV series in the Kapuso Network by director Nick Olanka, who directed the indie films Ronda and Ang Huling Araw ng Linggo. This latest offering from GMA Public Affairs is written by Jessie Villabrille, Jerome Zamora, Mario Banzon, and Conan Altatis based on a concept by Executive Producer Shao Masula, film and TV director Adolf Alix Jr. and SAVP Clyde Mercado.

Let your heart sing to the melody of Celina’s journey in My Guitar Princess, starting  May 7 weekdays, before Eat Bulaga on GMA-7.  Kapuso viewers abroad can also catch My Guitar Princess on GMA Pinoy TV.
