Last March 6, Viva Films' latest movie offering held a red carpet premiere at SM Megamall with their full cast. It was indeed another star-studded event and I'm glad I was able to watch "Ang Pambansang Third Wheel" too.

I'm glad I was able to watch Ang Pambansang Third Wheel on its premiere night and get the first dibs of it since the movie is now officially showing in all cinemas nationwide. I love the chemistry of Sam Milby and Yassi Pressman, I felt the connection especially the way they look at each other. Sam Milby has this rare and unique talent of just using his eyes for raw emotions among all the actors in the industry, he doesn't need long lines, just one look at his eyes and his leading lady, whoever she might be will definitely fall under his spell.
I love the roller coaster of emotions that this movie gave to me, starting from the funny scenes since Yassi can very well do Rom-Com scenes (wait for the constipated scene, it's one of the most LOL! for me). Al Tantay, without a doubt is my favorite veteran actor, he has done several notable projects from the past till now, he is still one of the perfect actor to portray the father fugure in every movie or teleserye. He just nails it. From being the father of Sarah Geronimo in A Very Special Love to You Changed My Life then It Takes A Man and a Woman. Now, he plays the father of Yassi Pressman in the movie and trust me, his role in this movie will definitely be one of your favorite part of this movie, it will touch you and make you treasure the presence of your father more.
The film brings a lot of realizations, from the title you will think that this is just another vague movie, predictable and so on but trust me, it's not. Direk Ivan Payawal gave his best rendition of a rom-com movie that will touch your heart. Plus you will also love the tight shots of Yassi and Sam in this movie, they are so blessed when it comes to having toned bodies and beautiful faces, the camera just loves their face, it made me realize how come Sam Milby didn't aged a bit all these years.
If you've been a third wheel most of your life and feels like giving up on love right now then this movie will surely give you hope not just about being in love but about LOVE in general.
