REGAL grandly kicks off the year with its inspirational drama movie, "Mama's Girl" topbilled by Regal Babies of their generation Sylvia Sanchez and Sofia Andres.

Last January Regal Films held a Blogger's Conference for Mama's Girl together with the cast, Director and Writer.

"We want to start the year right by giving our audience something that will inspire them more to embrace change, make more time for the people who matter most and live life to the fullest.," shared Roselle Monteverde about Regal Entertainment Inc.'s latest offering that will hit cinemas nationwide this January 17. "Mama's Girl" will somehow open an issue and try to bridge the gap between the thrill-seeking millennials and the overly concerned older generation.

Meanwhile, Sylvia considers her first movie this 2018 as a blessing.

Sylvia Sanchez also mentioned that she never dreamed, at her age right now, that her career will sudden reach it's highest peak to date after The Greatest Love, she is very thankful to all the projects and blessings coming her way especially to Arjo and Ria who already has their own career and now has a name of their own in the showbiz industry. For Mama's Girl, she described the film as a film that will touch your heart and make you appreciate your family especially your mothers more.

Sylvia also shared what kind of Mom she is at their home, she described herself as, "Gagawin ko ang lahat para sayo, pero wag nilang tatapakan ang pagka-Nanay ko.Dapat laging andun yung respeto."

Sylvia is confident that a lot of people, especially moms and daughters, can relate to the story of her character Mina and her daughter Abby (played by Sofia). She said that through the film, parents and their millennial kids will understand each other's journey.

Sylvia Sanchez is Mina in Mama's Girl

"Single mom man o hindi, lahat ng nanay ay magsasabing naranasan o narararanasan nila ang pinagdadaanan ni Mina. Yung punto ng buhay mo na mapapaisip ka kung anong nangyari sa anak mo at sa relasyon nyong mag-ina. Napabuti ka nga ba dahil sa akin o mas napasama pa? Siguradong hindi ka lang iiyak sa mga eksena dito kundi mapapaisip ka tungkol sa estado ng iyong pamilya," said Sylvia.

Sofia, on the other hand, is thankful to the movie as it served as an eye-opener. "My character Abby and I are a bit on the same phase wherein we want to try to be more adventurous to the point that we sometimes overlook our parent's concern. Sa movie, young people like me will realize that there are life lessons that we need to learn the hard way at wala kang ibang dapat gawin kundi matutong manindigan at magbago para sa ikabubuti mo." Sofia's recent movie with Regal Entertainment was Pwera Usog.

This 2018, she will take the lead role with his love team Diego Loyzaga that will surely give the fans "LIT" kilig more than they see on television. Diego will play Nico, a lowkey boy but the good and dutiful son every mother would like best for their daughter. Haunted Forest star Jameson Blake, will play the role of Zak, a rockstar bad boy with the face of an angel, another love interest of Sofia's character Abby.
