The amazing love team of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia join forces with the iconic tandem of Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla in Star Cinema's Unexpectedly Yours - The biggest romantic-comedy of the season.

Directed by Cathy Garcia Molina - one of the industry's box-office directors - and with a story developed by Kiko Abrillo and Vanessa Valdez, screenplay Anna Karenina Ramos and Janica Mae Regalo, Unexpectedly Yours is a romantic-comedy for the whole family that aims to show every moviegoer how life changing it is to take the leap of faith and give love a second chance.

Unexpectedly Yours explores two love stories centering on how a mother and daughter and an uncle and nephew will realize if it's really worth it to open their hearts and give love a second-chance in their lives.

In this movie, Sharon Cuneta plays the role of the overbearing and overachieving PATTY who is gradually losing control over the things and people that she values the most such as her job, her family, her body and her daughter YANNI played by Julia Barretto. YANNI is a passionate and determined young woman whose relationship with her mother is strained due to the annulment of her parent's marriage, which is resulted to her disillusionment with the concept of family.

Robin Padilla plays the role of the adventurous and charming COCOY whose generosity and love for his family resulted to him being single after so many years of hard working. COCOY is idolized by his funny, kind and equally charming nephew JASON portrayed by Joshua Garcia who has a crush on YANNI and follows around via social media.

Unexpectedly Yours is the much awaited reunion movie of Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla since they last worked together in 2001 in the movie Pagdating ng Panahon. Sharon and Robin first romanced the entire nation 26 years ago when they starred in the classic romantic-action-comedy film Maging Sino Ka Man which broke box office records in 1991.

During the grand presscon of the movie, Robin revealed that he was hesitant to shave his beard for this movie and Sharon also revealed that Robin Padilla is still her favorite leading man all this years.

This is the third film of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, who are also known as "JoshLia" to their countless loyal fans. Julia and Joshua first worked together in their blockbuster hit movie Vince and Kath and James which was Star Cinema's official entry in 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

The success of Joshua and Julia's big screen tandem paved their way for a second full length movie Love You to the Stars and Back which was shown this year 2017 as well. It was also a big revelation when Ms. Sharon Cuneta revealed how close Joshua and Julia is to each other.

Unexpectedly Yours is the third movie by director Cathy Garcia-Molina this year, with the smash hit My Ex and Whys as the first, and the recent box-office Seven Sundays as the second. Unexpectedly Yours also marks another milestone in Molina's stellar of accomplishments as this is her first time to work with JoshLia and with Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta.

Robin and Sharon shared the best advice they can give to Joshua and Julia about their love life, career and their future based on their experience.
