It was indeed a star-studded event, check out some of the stars who attended the red carpet premiere of This Time I'll Be Sweeter:

In the movie, Erika (Barbie) and Tristan (Ken) are classmates in college. Tristan is considered a campus crush due to his skills in swimming. He and Erika grow close to each other but then the latter is left heartbroken as they part ways.
Erika then graduates as a Cum Laude and succeeds as a field reporter. Tristan, on the other hand, ends up working for the family-owned airline company. Their paths cross once more when an incident involving Tristan's family and Erika's career come into play. The call of duty prompts Erika to communicate with Tristan for a follow-up on a story she did.
That incident brings them closer again with Erika throwing in help so that Tristan may recover from a misfortune. Will it be a happy ending for them this time around?

This Time I'll Be Sweeter is a feel-good movie that will bring out memories of your love life during your college days. I was not surprised with the superb chemistry Ken Chan and Barbie Forteza showcased in the movie because in their hit teleserye Meant To Be, they really gave the viewers a dose of feels which is why #KenBie love team was formed.
Ken Chan, once again gave his best in this project. I love his raw emotions plus the way he looks at Barbie, it will give you butterflies in your stomach, if I were Barbie, I would feel like I'm the most beautiful girl in the universe plus we can't deny the fact that Ken Chan is really one of the most good looking stars in his home network and one of his edge is that he has proven that he is without a doubt a versatile actor, passionate with his craft and willing to give so much more, truly a gem in the showbiz industry.
Barbie Forteza on the other hand portrayed a role that is more mature compared to her previous roles, it's her time to shine even brighter because she can nail any scenes from comedy to drama plus she can be paired with anyone with flying colors.
The supporting cast were all surprisingly superb with their roles, Thea Tolentino revived my anger towards her role in The Half Sisters were she played opposite Barbie Forteza. In the movie, she's the perfect "classy-work-oriented" type of girl friend. Kim Rodriguez is really good with her character too, I wish she'll be given more projects and lead roles in the future because she is very talented and beautiful, one of the underrated stars in the industry. I know she can be more aside from playing supporting roles. Akihiro Blanco is the perfect boy-next-door and best friend kind of guy that will make you feel guilty while watching the film.
All in all, Direk Joel Lamangan has touched not only the millennials with this movie but all ages because not only once but maybe there are instances in our lives, we've experienced the process of loving someone, getting hurt, moving on and giving second chances but in this movie, you will also realize how important it is to analyze each situation if it's still worth giving the second chance.
