The Debutantes starring the IT Girls of Horror, Now Showing in Cinemas Nationwide under Regal Films!

The much awaited horror film of the year from Regal Films "The Debutantes" is now showing in Philippine cinemas nationwide. Last October 3, 2017, the movie held it red carpet premiere at one of the newest destination in the metro which is Ayala Vertis North.

As expected, the red carpet premiere was star studded, the friends of the "IT GIRLS" of horror were present to support them. Check out their photos below:

Spearheading the red carpet is no less than Mother Lily together with Ms. Roselle Monteverde, family friends and Regal Babies.

The story revolves around Kate (Sue), a friendless and weird-looking student who tries to win the friendship of fellow students Lara (Miles), Jenny (Jane), Candice (Michelle) and Shayne (Chanel).

She, however, fails miserably in that she only gets close to one of them, Lara, while the rest of the girls find immeasurable joy in bullying her around. Kate then experiences a nightmare and warns them about it, but they won’t listen to her except for Lara.

This is what I wrote on my IG account, a brief review of The Debutantes:

"Congrats to the whole cast, director and to @regalfilms50 for creating, yet again another refreshing, thrilling horror film. To be honest, when I first saw the trailer, I was expecting a predictable movie but I was wrong, an ensemble of amazing cast rolled into one plus scary moments and classic horror scenes that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Direk Prime made it sure that he instill in every scene that suspense factor that will build up the scare factor which will give you terror and goosebumps once you see the aftermath, there are scenes that will really make you cuss or even slap the one beside you out of terror, I love the visuals and the sounds effects because this is where you build the tension when it comes to horror films, you need to have perfect visuals and a horrific sound effects to match. Plus, the actors were brilliant, no too "OA" but just the right amount of acting making it even more realistic.

A movie that you'll rewind and want to watch again and again, in short, di ka patutulugin beshie! Yun na yun! Dami ko sinabi, basta maganda! Mag- isip ka muna bago ka umattend ng debut!"
