The GMA Afternoon Prime soap is topbilled by GMA’s multi-talented and home-grown talents Sanya Lopez, Thea Tolentino, Pancho Magno, and Rocco Nacino. Thea Tolentino plays the role of Lucille Bermudez who will make Sanya's life miserable in the series. According to Thea, this is the most wicked role she has ever portrayed.
Although Thea and Sanya have worked together in The Half Sisters, this is the first time that they will working this close as the antagonist and protagonist. They were interviews that said Sanya always gives her best in every scene with Thea because she is challenged with Thea and on how she is that good when it comes to acting. What's more is that there are a lot of physical scenes that Thea said candidly, this is like "Ika-6 na Haplos in the making" referring to Ika-6 na Utos which is the highest rating afternoon series. Although there's a lot of cat fights in the series, Thea said that they make it sure that before they shoot a scene she and Sanya will talk about how they will execute it so that everything will turn out well.
Thea admitted that as years go by she continues to learn more and the shy and conservative Thea soon broke out of her shell to pursue greater heights, she added that she enjoys playing kontrabida roles because it's more challenging. Thea also shared how she enjoyed her extensive acting workshop from no less than New York Professional Acting Teacher Mr. Anthony Vincent Bova with other Kapuso artists. She gained more confidence and learned more about acting.
When asked how does she feel when the audience really hate her character because of being the kontrabida, Thea said that she feels happy because it only means that she is being an effective actress, there were instances that there are people who thinks that she is also "that mean" in real life and Thea cleared that what you see in TV is completely different in real life. Her fans took turns in acknowledging how nice Thea is and she is in fact very soft spoken, completely opposite of Lucille in real life.
Thea also shared that she is willing to do an indie film in the future, in fact she will be part of the upcoming movie of Barbie Forteza and Ken Chan "This Time I'll Be Sweeter" which is a mainstream movie under Regal Films. Thea will be the third wheel in the movie but fans don't have to worry because she will not be as evil as Lucille in the movie.
Thea wishes to travel more in the future and hopefully visit Japan again soon because she said she really love Japan, she has visited the country before and everything made her love Japan even more.
