Fun-Filled Videoke Sunday with GMA Network's ALL-STAR VIDEOKE

Most Filipinos loves singing which is why videoke is a typical activity past time activity especially in gatherings or special occasions. No wonder Allan K's "All Star K!" was a big hit for almost 7 years, this time, GMA Network is bring back the fun with All-Star Videoke hosted by Betong Sumaya and Solenn Heussaff.

Betong Sumaya said promised that they are going to give the audience twice the fun and excitement plus amazing prizes for those who will be part of the show.

Betong also shared his working experience with Solenn Heussaff and how exciting the pilot episode of All-Star Videoke is.

All-Star Videoke had a pilot viewing together with the Bloggers and Kapuso Brigade and I really recommend for all of you to watch it regularly starting on September 3 because it is a fun and exciting show. You will surely reminisce the songs you used to sing and always sing plus you will realize that you might be singing some of those songs with wrong lyrics!

Betong narrated that he feels blessed that GMA Network trusted them to host this show because they also feel nervous and pressured all at the same time because they'll be filling in the shoes of great hosts like Allan K., Jaya and Arnel Ignacio who used to host the show, he felt thankful as well because Allan K. and Jaya gave them a blessing as well as the next hosts of the show. “Natutuwa ako kasi kami ni Solenn ’yung pinagkatiwalaan ng GMA dito sa napakalaking project na ito. As we all know, inaabangan talaga ito ng viewers noon, ’di ba? Sobra ’yung excitement ko kasi following the footsteps of Allan K., Jaya and Arnell Ignacio, ang laki ng shoes to fill in so I feel blessed and challenged at the same time.”

The game features six celebrity contestants vying to outwit one another by filling in the missing words on a song in a videoke-type presentation. For the pilot episode, the contestants will be Mikael Daez, Megan Young, Kim Domingo, Barbie Forteza, Ken Chan and Jak Roberto. All-Star Laglagers will be Jerald Napoles and Alden Richards.

In the event that every player correctly answered the words in each song, a pair of celebrity ‘laglagers’ will choose one player who will be out of the competition. The two remaining contenders will proceed in the semi-final round for a chance to play in the jackpot round. The winning contestant becomes the All Star Videoke Champ! and may bring home a cash prize of up to 100,000 pesos. The All-Star Videoke Champ who wins 4x consecutively will get a chance to win cash prizes and a brand new car!

Betong also shares that the contenders also feels excited and nervous all at the same time, the stage is brilliant too. "Yung stage mas bongga. Instead of hila, ngayon hulog. Marami ding cameras,Sobrang ganda ng set, pinagkagastusan talaga. Isa sa pinakamalaking studio o set sa buong history ng GMA. Para kang may malalaking speakers na may mga ilaw. Sobrang excited na kami na maipalabas siya. "

The celebrity contenders are worth watching out for. Betong shared the audiences will love the show as it will also make them sing along as they play songs with different themes.

“’Yung mga celebs na hindi mo inaasahang kumakanta o magagaling pala dito mo makikita. Nakakatawa kasi iba-iba ’yung tono. Iba-iba ’yung lyrics. So nakakatawa kasi nababago na ’yung lyrics,” Betong said.
