Kate Valdez: Young, Driven & Beautiful at 17

Most of the celebrities uses their charm and looks as a stepping stone to be a star and as for Kate Valdez, she doesn't just have the just the face to make people notice her, she has undeniable charm, wit, glamor and passion in acting that bloomed ever since she became part of Encantadia remake as Mira, the daughter of Pirena (Glaiza De Castro).

Kate Valdez celebrated her 17th birthday, a step closer into being a full grown woman. Although she is still celebrating her 17th birthday, Kate can't help but feel excited to celebrate her debut next year.

According to Kate, as of now, she is excited to plan it ahead of time and she wishes to have a boho themed party, much like Klea Pineda's debut party, but other than that she wants all of her love ones to be present like her celebration this year.

Kate celebrated her birthday at Nail Cocktales Hand and Foot Spa located at BGC, The Fort which is owned by GMA Artist Center actress Ms. Rich Asuncion. Rich Asuncion is part of the top rating GMA Afternoon prime serye Ika-6 na Utos.

Kate's birthday will not be complete without bonding with her loyal supporters.

They're all excited to bond with her and just by looking at them, you'll see how close they're all are. According to Kate, she is thankful to her fans which consists of Kate Cuties and Katelicious who never fail to support her no matter what. She added that when she is not busy, she makes it a point to talk to them via social media.

This is why even though it's Kate's birthday, it's the perfect time to treat her fans with a pampering treat. They all got free manicure from Nail Cocktales and goodies as well from GMA Artist Center and Kate plus the most memorable thing is that they get to spend some time with her as well.

Kate said that Encantadia really boosted her acting career, she is thankful that GMA Network gave her a chance to shine on her own and she trusts GMA that she will continue to have wonderful opportunities in the future. Kate added that she also misses her Enca co-stas specifically the Sang'gres and Mikee Quintos who portrayed as Lira. She experienced a special bondo with the cast that she will treasure forever and she hopes she gets to work with them again in the future.

Speaking of working again soon, Kate was also asked about the talks of Encantadia sequel and she can't help but feel excited about it as well.

A notch higher in acting - Kate was recently part of an extensive acting workshop from no less than New York Professional Acting Teacher Mr. Anthony Vincent Bova. She was part of the lucky GMA Artist Talents who went under his exclusive training and Kate said she learned so much from it and she feels more confident than ever to strive harder and achieve her dreams. Right now she is also busy doing photo shoots for the brands she endorses.

Because of her undeniable beauty, would Kate be interested in joining a beauty pageant specifically Binibining Pilipinas in the near future? Kate smiled and confidently said YES.

Kate said that it is one of her dreams as well and her idol in Shamcey Supsup and Venus Raj.

Speaking of reigning beauties, a lot of people also noticed the remarkable resemblance of Kate and Kapamilya star Liza Soberano. Kate said a lot of people have been telling her that and she feels happy that people think that way, she admitted that she is also a fan of Liza, the fact that she is very pretty and also hard working and talented, she also wants to follow her foot steps and meet her someday.

The birthday event of Kate Valdez was hosted by TOP member Joshua Jacobe who did a great job in hosting the event. In fact, he has been hosting a lot of GMA Network's event lately because he is really doing a great job in hosting.

All of us also noticed the striking chemistry of Kate and Joshua. They really look good together aside from the fact that they are comfortable with each other as well.

According to both Kate and Joshua, they know each other because of the workshops under GMA Artist Center and they also see other in GMA which is why they're very comfortable with each other. They even joke around which is really cute. I'm rooting for this two, I hope GMA Network will have a new teleserye and will include this two soon because they're so adorable.
