Where to Dine at SM City Masinag

Saturday, February 18, 2017

As a resident of Antipolo, Rizal it was perfect for me that I don't need to go that far when it comes to my shopping needs because SM City Masinag is just one ride away from. It would take me not more than 15 minutes just to get there which makes it our top destination when me and my family needs to unwind, relax and do some day to day grocery or eat out as well.

SM City Masinag includes SM Department Store and SM Supermarket as its major anchors, the mall also includes SM mainstays like SM Appliance Center, ACE Hardware, and Watsons, as well as over 50 or more shops, restaurants, computer stores, and service outlets.

Speaking of Restaurant and food joints, just recently Bloggers got the chance to have a taste of what SM City Masinag offers when it comes to their Food Choices.

Our first stop was King Bee Chinese Food. It used to be located just in front of SM City Masinag but since the LRT construction is ongoing, they need to transfer to a new and better place which is at the Ground Level of SM City Masinag.

King Bee Chinese Food can accommodate up to 100 customers because they also offer seats outside, perfect for big groups.

It was not my first time at King Bee Chinese Food because I'm quite familiar with their menu and I really love all of it. They offer affordable and quality dishes fit for the whole family.

 Cold Cuts Combination
 Mix Seafood Soup
White Chicken Combination with Soy Chicken
Birthday Noodle
Pan Fried Squid with Salted Egg Yolk
Sweet and Sour Pork
 Yang Chow Rice
Fruits Platter

Second stop is at Dunkin Donuts which is now located at the Upper Ground Level.

It used to have a small kiosk just in front of SM Supermarket now they offer more seats and bigger options for donut lovers out there. We tried out their premium donuts and my ultimate favorite will always be Choco Butternut and Butternut. It reminds me of my childhood days especially the munchkins.

Although I have another favorite which is Choco Wacko but just the same I will not pass the chance of eating sweets to brighten up my day. We also tried their Bunwich and croissants.

Third stop is Congo Grille located at the ground floor.

For quite some time, I've known Congo Grille as the go-to restaurant when you also want to have some alcohol drinks and you just want to chill with your love ones and colleagues until we had our food crawl at their branch in SM City Masinag.

Kinilaw
Classic Adobo
 Pinakbet Rice
 Calamares Rings
Sizzling Stuffed Sisig
 Congo Pork Sisig
 Turon de Leche
Congo Mango

Our last stop was at Don's Original Spanish Churros located at the 3rd floor of
SM City Masinag

Churros has been loved by many Filipinos over the years. A churro is a fried dough pastry that is very popular in Spain, France, Latin America, America and Australia.  It is a snack that is best dipped in a melted chocolate and served with a hot chocolate or coffee.
The Spanish Churros continue to evolve with the innovation of a hollow churro, filled with all kinds of delectable fillings such  dulce de leche and fruit-based jams. You’ll find Don's Original Spanish Churros to be delightful and delicious snacks. We tasted the original then there's the cheese flavored one that is new to me and delicious as well.

All in all I really enjoyed our food crawl at SM City Masinag. I'm glad after all the food tasting I managed to keep my buttons in my pants intact till I got back home because I was so full and really had a wonderful time checking out the new food discoveries at SM City Masinag. Thank you so much for having us!
