Book & Borders Cafe Now Open at Eastwood City!

Thursday, December 01, 2016

There are many things that go hand-in-hand in this world, the perfect match, like pizza and ice cold soda, puto and dinuguan (You know this if you're a Filipino), bread and butter, but one of my personal favorite pairings is the warm and cozy books-and-cafes twosome. A match made in heaven, the cozy surroundings of a bustling cafe is a perfect supplement to the comforting pages of a good book. There's something about warm coffee or hot chocolate and the smell of the pages of the book that relaxes me which is why I really love the concept of Book & Borders Cafe, now open at Eastwood Branch.

Having already opened branches in Tuscany, McKinley Hill, Taguig; and Tomas Morato, Quezon City, Book & Borders Cafe is proud to unveil its third cafe in Eastwood City, giving residents, office workers, students and shoppers a new venue to dine and unwind after a tiring day.

Formally opening its doors last Saturday, November 26, 2016, Book & Borders promises great food, awesome drinks, and hours of fun reading.

One you enter Book and Borders Cafe, you will be greeted not just by their friendly crew but also with the inviting aroma of coffee. Like the other two branches, they offer a modern style ambiance to their cafe. Comfy chairs and wooden tables and well lit area for book lovers.

It’s a soft and elegant cafe, great for both work and reading. The tables are rather proportioned so they’re just the right size for a coffee and a book or more.

Never forget that in order to keep reading, you need to keep eating! If you’re a reader who often skips meals because it’s hard to put down a book, then head over to Book & Borders Cafe for that good food and amazing books you're looking for.

Book & Borders Cafe continuously update their menu with delicious meals fit for a king and while you're enjoying your favorite hot brewed coffee, you might as well try their Salted Hot Chocolate, Iced Coffee Fudge, and Hazelnut Frappe and foods like the Barbeque Liempo with Rice, Fried Tuyo with Kesong Puti Pasta and Seafood Aligue Pasta.

Check out their latest offering:
 Tempura Rice Meal
 Chicken Teriyaki with Kimchi Rice
 Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

To celebrate this milestone, Book & Borders owner Kristine Simisim, Mary Simisim, Megaworld's Kevin Tan, General George Ancheta, Benjamin Alves, Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon, Architect Paolo Grijalvoand Harry Morris led the ribbon cutting ceremony.

In our busy lives, it’s a wonderful feeling to be able to appreciate the simplicity of a good book and that one cafe that feels like a safe haven. I recommend Book & Borders Cafe for the #MeTime that you are longing for. Indulge yourself.

Pass the time, avoid the traffic, and savor the calm and quiet at Book & Borders Eastwood.
Drop by with your family or friends or even by yourself, you deserve it.
