From the maker of the hit "Kimmy Dora" series, Spring Films now unleashes another breakthrough movie offering - "Relaks It's Just Pag-Ibig". The movie tackles the quest of sweet, young and yet true love which is top-billed by three of today's fast rising teen stars - Julian Estrada, Sofia Andres and Inigo Pascual. Almost a year in the making and shot in Leyte with the famous San Juanico Bridge, this project is seen to be dubbed as the newest Kilig Movie of the year.
Julian Estrada, one of the industry's promising male newbies who can definitely act, dance and sing started as part of Star Magic's Circle Batch 2012 and so far has done one support role in the blockbuster "She's Dating a Gangster". The 18 year old boy next door newbie has been doing several workshops for his upcoming projects and still able to juggle work and school well.
Star Magic fast rising sweetheart Sofia Andres started with several TV commercial projects when she was 12 years old. Some of Sofia's TV commercial gigs were for Beng Beng Chocolate, Oishi Crispy Fries and KFC with Daniel Padilla. Her notable acting appearances to date were "Princess & I" as Dindi, the love interest of Khalil Ramos and as Athena in "She's Dating the Gangster." She also had a remarkable appearance in MMK. Sofia is also a part of ABS-CBN's newest primetime soap "Forevermore".
Ericka Villongco, who became famous with singing and is part of the duo Krissy and Ericka is also part of the movie as a socialite contrabida. It's her first acting project.
With the help of his dad, the ultimate hearthrob Piolo Pascual, 17 year old Ingo is indeed born ready for the crazy world of showbiz. Inigo shared how thankful he is that Piolo is his Dad and how generous and sweet the country's top leading man is. People are now tagging him as the Ultimate Teen Heartthrob. Aside from his passion for singing, dancing, he is also into songwriting.
Other members of the cast are Smokey Manaloto, Earl Ignacio, Pia Magalona with Alessandra De Rossi. Directed by Antoinette Jadaone and Irene Villamor. Distributed by Star Cinema.
The movie takes you to a road trip of a young, sweet love. Sari (Sofia), who has just turned 16, is in search of Elias, the writer of a love letter she found a year ago. Elias is to meet his lover on a beach in Leyte, under the blue moon which promises true love to anyone who witnesses it together, or so the letter says. Sari makes a deal with Josh (Inigo), a 16 year old Alabang boy Sari meets in her family-owned gallery. Josh is to come with her to Leyte to prove that true love exists. Josh agrees wanting to disprove her.
The trip takes unexpected turns as they encounter people that resurrects or disappoints their beliefs. Especially when Sari's best friend Kiko (Julian) suddenly shows up. Now, Sari, Josh and Kiko are not just taking a road trip but also discovering what true love really means.
