The Life Extension Center for Health and Wellness is the perfect place for rejuvenation and healing

Health and Wellness Sunday, October 06, 2024

At the end of an exhausting week, it’s only natural for our body and our mind to feel drained. In these moments, it’s safe to say that anyone and everyone could benefit from a relaxing spa treatment. We definitely deserve it!

This is your time to unwind and relax. It’s your time to treat yourself to a rare and cherished moment of relaxation and healing. It’s the time that you owe to yourself for all of the hard work and challenges you continue to face week-after-week.

Perfect timing because I discovered a center for health and wellness.

Nestled at the heart of Quezon City, you can visit The Life Extension Center for Health and Wellness where they offer massage treatments, reflexology and more. Aside from their quality service, friendly and accommodating staff, they also offer the most affordable and competitive prices compared to others.

The Life Extension Center for Health and Wellness will pamper & detoxify your body and soul from stress, bathe your body and melt your worries away with their medical spa. They are focused on naturally improving & rejuvenating your body. Aside from the spa treatment and relaxing massage, they also offer variety of treatments for your specific health concerns. They will assure you that all your pain and worries will be relieved, because all their employees had undergone an extensive training to give you a satisfying level of customer service.

✅First on the list that I tried is their Bio-Clarity Therapy for 15 minutes. This is like a personal sauna that helps you relax, relieve pain, improve circulation and with added benefits for weight loss and skin purification.

✅Another service that I tried was their Foot Reflexology for 45 minutes. It really feels like all the tensed and sore muscles from my legs to my feet with all the walking for the months has been relieved.

✅Lastly, my visit at The Life Extension will not be complete without a neck, shoulder and back massage. I fully recommend the staff who do all the services, Ms. Ana. All their staff are well-trained and have been in this industry for years.

Next time, I would love to try their Diathermy. For those suffering from frozen shoulders, muscle spasms and sprains, DIATHERMY is the best therapy for you. Diathermy uses electrical current to deliver core warming to deep body tissue and bring therapeutic processes from within to enjoy over-all comfort.

Check out the prices and the services

I fully recommend this place because after all the services I have tried, I felt like all my stress and strains have been removed. I feel rejuvenated and ready to face the battles again for another gruelling week. If you're looking for a therapeutic center where they can fully cater to your needs, The Life Extension Center for Health and Wellness is the perfect place for you. They also recently celebrated their 26th Anniversary last October 1, founded in 1998.

Body Tune Introduces Ultra Lift: Be Young Inside & Out!

Beauty and Wellness Saturday, May 30, 2015

Just recently, I experienced one of the best massage ever together with fellow Bloggers at Body Tune Megamall Branch. Body Tune has serving customers at Megamall for years now and I can still remember back when I was still in college, whenever I got the chance to pass by at this branch, I always tell myself that someday, I'll get to experience being pampered here. At that time, I felt like the prices were a bit high since I was a student, now I know that with the kind of superb service they give, the prices were truly reasonable and affordable compared to others.

Body Tune offers a lot of services if you want to get pampered. From Massage to Body Treatments, Waxing, Facial Treatments, Hand and Foot Care,Slimming services and lastly they also sell body products. Aside from these services, they also have medical and dermatological treatments and injectables for whitening treatments.

I tried their Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub and since it was my first time to try that service, I can say that it was beyond my expectation. Based from he reviews I usually read, Dead Sea salt is the best body scrub since it takes off the dead skin cells of our skin making way for new ones which leaves our skin free from toxins. What I love about the procedure is that she put honey on my skin afterwards. The result was truly remarkable, it made my skin really soft.

Aside from the services I mentioned above, Body Tune introduced us their newest service.

This is the Ultra Lift. Ultra Lift, through HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a medical procedure that applies high-intensity focused ultrasound energy to locally heat for a lifting result on the skin.

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) - uses the same technology as Ultherapy but at a fraction of the price. It is considered the Gold Standard technology for skin tightening.

Ultra Lift is a new type of non-surgical, non-invasive procedure similar to Ulthera Therapy which uses focused ultrasound and the face's own natural healing process to lift, tone, and tighten loose skin on the brow, neck, under the chin, and even the decolletage

(upper chest area).

With Ultra Lift you will avoid the uncomfortable feeling of the downtime or foreign substances; just a healthy reviving-up on the inside for a natural skin lifting and noticeable skin tightening effect on the outside.

THE BENEFITS OF ULTRA LIFT

-Reducing fine to deep wrinkles -Under eye troughs, bags and dark circles -Skin lifting

-Tighter, better-fitting skin, including your neck -Its the lift without the surgery

HOW DOES THE ULTRA LIFT WORKS?

Before After - Ultra Lift:

Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from the outside-in, the Ultra Lift procedure by-passes the surface of the skin, and delivers targeted energy specifically into the deep, structural tissues and muscles where collagen lives. By stimulating the deep structural support layers of the skin, a natural, regenerative response is initiated, stimulating the growth of new collagen, which lifts and tightens the skin over time. Because ultrasound technology actually works non-invasivery from the inside-out, results build gradually over 2-3 months, and can continue to improve up to 6 months after the procedure. An anaesthetic cream is applied to the areas to be treated if needed.

POST TREATMENT CARE

As mentioned with Ultra Lift, there is no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post-treatment restrictions or requirements. Your skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some patients experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

WHAT TO EXPECT OF ULTRA LIFT THERAPY

There may be slight redness for up to an hour or so following the treatment, and a small percentage of patients may have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature and after, your skin will be firm and tighten. Patients treated with Ultra Lift still have fresh young collagen after a year's time following the procedure, but skin continues to age. Future touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The HIFU System is contraindicated for use in patients with:

- open facial wounds or lesions

-acne on the face or neck

-metal stents/implants in the face or neck

-implantable electrical devices

Based from experience,it did worked even on my first session. The lines on my neck disappeared like magic! The procedure is nice as well. You will not feel anything at all since it is a laser procedure, it goes straight to the layer of your skin where it will focus. There's a cold gel that will be lathered on your skin before it proceeds. For introductory price, for 2 months they will be offering it half the price since Ultra Lift is offered for Php5,000.

This procedure is not only for Mommies or for those who have reached their golden years and feels like they want to erase those signs of aging. Like me, even though I am not yet a Mom, I also undergo stages that I also want to look good and with Ultra Lift, since I am on the chubby stage, Ultra Lift will help me with the lines under my neck to make it more firm.

So, don't hesitate to try this one even if you're just on your 20's because if you feel like there's something that you want to achieve on your appearance and you want fast results, this is perfect for you too!

Transcend Spa & Nails: Promoting a Holistic Approach to Wellness

Health and Wellness Thursday, August 22, 2013

When was the last time you stopped and made and effort to take care of your self? Little do we realize it, but our bodies take a beating everyday with all the tension and stress that surrounds us. Nowadays, it is becoming more widely accepted that gaining a sense of well-being involves restoring balance to our inner selves through holistic therapies.

“These days, spa treatments and therapies are no longer an indulgent luxury; they’re a necessary step towards revitalizing and restoring your energies,” says Sanaiyah Gurnamal of Transcend Spa and Nails. “In order to restore our inner balance, we must treat not just the body, but also the mind and spirit.”

A spa and wellness center with a distinctly holistic approach, Transcend’s services and therapies aim to bring natural balance to the body by focusing not just on the physical, but also the mental and spiritual benefits of rituals. “At Transcend, we believe that it is not enough to pamper the body alone. We must go into the realm of the spirit, where we can access the energy system, and beyond that, the mind.”

Committed to the quality, purity, and integrity of their services, Transcend uses products that are vegan and organic. “The use of all-natural and organic products guarantees that our services are safe for pregnant women and other people with allergies or sensitivities.”

One-of-a-Kind Therapies
True to its concept of “going beyond”, Transcend offers out-of-the-ordinary therapies that incorporate meditation and energy healing modalities. Mothers-to-be can avail of TRANSCEND Life, a pregnancy massage with an Angel Reading so that mothers can get in touch with the Angels that are protecting the baby in their womb. Meanwhile, those who wish to transcend the realms of tangible reality may avail of TRANSCEND Space, a spiritual massage therapy with Galactic Visualization meditation and Shiatsu massage; or the TRANSCEND Reality, a spiritual massage therapy with Deep Theta Wave vibration and Swedish massage.

On the other hand, those who wish to awaken their spirit and restore balance in their physical beings can avail of the TRANSCEND Time, a Crystal Past Life Regression session paired with a Hawaiian LomiLomi Massage; or the TRANSCEND Spirit, a Chakra Healing and Balancing session paired with a Chakra massage.

Beyond-the-Usual Spa Treatments
Clients may also avail of Serenity (Swedish), Vitality (Shiatsu), Unity (Combination), Luminance (Whitening), Heavenly Scent (Aromatherapy), Harmony (Thai), or Balance (Hot Stone) massage services, which are focused on relieving tension and stress, and promoting well-being. “Our masseuses are equipped with an intuitive knowledge of the workings of the body’s energies,” says Sanaiyah. For soothing pampering experiences, Transcend also offers facial treatments, body wraps and scrubs, and anti-cellulite treatments with Pevonia’s natural, eco-friendly and cruelty-free products.

On the other hand, Transcend’s nail care treatments also offer therapeutic benefits. “Our manicure and pedicure services can be paired with restorative hand or foot treatments for the ultimate in nail care.” Clients may also choose between two types of premium nail polish: vegan and organic polish from Sparitual, or gel polish from Gelish, which can last for up to two weeks.

Clients who have reservations about letting hair grow before a waxing session or getting allergic reactions from harmful chemicals can avail of Transcend’s hair removal services, which make use of organic Lycon Precision Waxing. Its natural resin and beeswax formula can remove stubborn hair as short as 1mm with less pain and stickiness, and is safe for all skin types. “With Lycon, we can achieve completely hair-free results for all types of hair growth, while providing nurturing and skin conditioning even for sensitive skin,” Sanaiyah shares.

Overall, Transcend Spa & Nails wishes to promote the importance of holistic wellness in achieving balance and well-being. “Through a holistic approach to wellness, we can keep diseases at bay, achieve peace and calm, and achieve a healthy body, a sound mind, and energetic spirit.”

The Third Eye Wellness is a mind-body-energy center that promotes complete wellness through its activities and services.
