Jolina Marie B. Reyes or better known as Krystal Reyes started out young in the showbiz industry and like every kid who started out young in the showbiz industry, she makes it a point to reinvent herself so that she can portray any role given to her. She is also known for being one of the brightest stars of GMA Network simply because she is really good especially when it comes to Drama.
She's been part of the hit teleserye's via Kapuso Network like Rosalinda, Anna Karenina and one of her most remarkable role is when she guested in an episode of Magpakailanman as Tintin, where she portrayed "Batang Ina".
She has won numerous awards like Paulines Telefest Awards, Yes! Magazine 100 Most Beautiful stars 2013, PMPC Star Awards for Television.
This year, Krystal Reyes has been part of GMA Afternoon Prime "Healing Hearts" with Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin. She plays the role of Chloe. This time, she's not the typical girl she always portrays, the good girl who always cries and got beaten. She now portrays a classy kontrabida.
At first Krystal said she was a bit nervous playing a kontrabida role because she was used to playing the nice girl image but she really wanted to be versatile which is why she said yes to this project and working with her friends Joyce and Kristoffer is also something she looks forwards to.
Was she afraid to be type-casted once she started portraying kontrabida roles? She answered no since she believes that GMA Network always gives them the best roles that they can portray. When she accepted the role, the first actress that came to her mind was Ms. Angelika Dela Cruz who is also very versatile and also pretty good when it comes to portraying a kontrabida role.
She also feels good working with Kristoffer and Joyce who are very professional when it comes to their work. It was easier for her to work with them since they've work in the past.
Krystal said that she is a member of the NBSB club meaning no boyfriend since birth and she doesn't really mind. For now, she wants to focus more on her work since she feels really blessed for the continuous projects GMA Network has been giving her.
There are so many things to look forward to about her role as Chloe in Healing Hearts.
Will she be nice to Liza eventually?
